Pur $5-7k towards remodeling our bathroom and then put the rest towards my student loans.

We're so lame. We have a formula for all bonuses that come into the house so it would be treated that way. 1% to LO, 39% to mortgage 30% to retirement savings and 30% to our general account. With the 30% fun money, we'd probably buy new furniture for upstairs.

Add a sunroom on our house! We've been pricing them out and our current home improvement savings isn't enough to do it this year.

Renovate my master bath and kitchen (I live in a small home), pay off one of our car payments then put whatever's left into DS's savings account.

Change the carpet throughout my main floor to hardwood and change the mahogany baseboards to white. *sigh* one day...

I would put most of it in savings and then probably use the rest to fund an attorney to put together our living will and trust (so terrible that we haven't done this yet with 2 kids already)!

Pay off student loan debt, then put the rest in our investment and retirement accounts!... and skim $500 off the top to go on a nice weekend getaway.

Pay off a credit card, buy 3 tickets home for Christmas, put the rest into savings.

We have no debt, so we'd probably spend about $10,000 on a travel trailer so we have a place to stay on furloughs, and then the rest would be split between some things we really need (cloth diapers, some quality clothes for all of us, and a DSLR) and savings.

Wait, is that 15k taxable? LOL
If I have a full 15k, I'd make myself spend 2k on shopping. Well maybe more because I don't know how much things cost anymore. I haven't shopped for myself for ages it is pathetic. And I'd like to not shop at the Sale isle and not having to worry about the price tag... OK maybe 4k shopping lol.
The rest of it goes to savings and may contribute to a trip or two in the future.

Savings. But that's boring so I'd try to leave a little for a momcation inspired by Mrs. Bee, but super fancy, like lunch at Per Se and a facial at Bliss.

I'd fund an additional few months maternity leave and do some little bits to the house.
