If you could only have one choice, what would you choose? My LO is going between these two extremes and I can't decide which one I like better - haha

My lo goes between the same. I think I'd take happy during the day since I can nap well.

I always say that I can deal with anything during the day if I get a full night's sleep so I pick the first. Plus, nights are my quality time with the DH after our LO has gone to bed. Without that, we wouldn't have enough time as a couple.

My lo is a bad napper but sleeps great at night. I need my 8 hours, so I'm ok with it.

I function better if I get a full night of sleep, so I'd pick full night of sleep over good sleep during the day.

I'd love for LO to sleep a full 12 hours at night without making a peep!

i'm reading healthy sleep habits, happy child... and it's during the day that they need to learn, so i picked the 2nd one, for the baby. if it were up to me, i'd pick the first one.

It's a tough one, but I really live for the happy moments during the day. DS was sick this past Thu-Sun and he was pretty cranky. I was pulling my hair out and driving him around for naps during the day just to get the blissful 30 minutes of happiness after he woke up.
Although I suppose it's all relative - if being a poor sleeper at night meant that he woke up more than twice, I'd probably be picking that I'd prefer a LO who slept well at night. When DS is sick he wakes 1-2 times a night, sometimes staying up for 1-2 hours, and wakes early. When he's healthy, he usually sleeps through the night, but wakes early, around 5, and needs a couple ounces of milk to get him back to sleep until 6:30 or 7.
