I have a cold so I'm feeling cruddy. Right now, I am on the computer while DH gives DS a bath. This weekend, we are decorating the house for Christmas (not the tree yet), finishing organizing nursery and getting LO lots of outdoors time while the weather is pleasant.

Trying to get DS to go down for the night in a pack n play at my sister's. He's been struggling for over an hour now. DD went down easily which means she should be due to wake up as soon as I get him to sleep.

I had emergency gall bladder surgery on Monday and life has been beyond hectic this week...for the first time since then both girls are home with us (they were staying with my mom while i recovered) and I am SO SO grateful to have them home and be all under one roof again.
So we are just laying low and hanging out together this weekend !

We went to see The Good Dinosaur tonight. It's Jazz family approved. We have a play date tomorrow with friends and I have a salon appt on Sunday to chop my hair off!
I wish every weekend was a 4-day weekend.

Fixed the drain pump on the washer tonight (all! by! ourselves!) and found 5 of the boys socks and a baby washcloth. I was wondering where the hell all the other socks were going!
so that particular part is on the front bottom of the washer, and it was half full of water, so of course when we pulled the pump out.....YAY. (We fixed it, of course. alternated two frying pans since thats the only thing that would fit and dumped it into a bucket).

Well we were supposed to be doing some more work on the nursery; I have stripped the wallpaper and DH was going to sand the walls and put lining paper up. However, yesterday, I discovered that our garage is damp so we have to get the books into the house asap (we moved 4 months ago and have nowhere to put them yet). So we had to start on the dining room today instead..... we've half stripped the walls so far. Once we've finished papering and paining, DH will build bookshelves.
