My almost two year old is teething some molars and refuses to eat anything but frozen berries and pouches. So I’m in the market- organic preferable but not necessary. They seem really expensive but none of my others were really into purred food so I don’t know. What’s a good price for pouches? And where do you get them? Thanks!

Anything under a dollar feels like a steal. I get them at BJs mostly. The target up and up ones are like $.89 but my organic. Amazon has specials on them sometimes too. Depending on the type I feel like $1.25 a pouch is ok.

If you have a Costco, they sell the GoGo Squeeze organic fruit and veggie pouches for like $10 a box and they have 16 of them in there. They also carry the applesauce pouches (although I get the Kirkland brand ones because its cheaper) and they started carrying the GoGo Squeeze yogurt pouches too.

@gingerbebe: oh right- the gogo squeeze pouches are cheaper than the regular baby food ones, but the price difference between a regular grocery store and a warehouse store is crazy. I refuse to buy them at a regular store.

Gosh, I was paying $1.49 at Whole Foods for the Earth Baby Smoothies and I thought I was getting a steal.

I usually aim for on sale at $1 or less.

I shop around on Jet, Boxed, Amazon. Usually I can get GoGo for 9.99, sometimes 8.99 for a box of 16.
I always pay under $1/pouch.
Be sure to check credit card deals too - for example I often get a $20 off perk on my Amex for any purchase of $50 or $75 at Jet or Boxed. A lot of times they stack with other promo codes!

@looch: some are definitely pouches or have more good stuff in it (like the earth baby smoothies prob have veggies blended in, where go go squeeze are mostly applesauce and smaller pouch size). The go go squeeze veggie ones do seem like a good deal but one of my kids won’t eat them.

I never pay more than $1. Aldi has organic ones for 0.89 in my local store.

For GoGOSqueez I won’t pay more than .50 a pouch. I wait until I find them on sale at that price and stock up. Right now since we have a new baby and are doing subscribe and save through Amazon for diapers and wipes I have a subscription to pouches too so I can get 15% off.

Now that DD eats fewer pouches, I only buy the Happy Baby clear pouches because they're the only ones I've found that actually say what's in them and that have significant amounts of vegetables. But they're freaking expensive. If I can find them on sale for under $2 I'm thrilled. I don't let her have them very often because they're so $$$!

I pay $1.20ish for the plum organic at target. It’s the cheapest I’ve found even amazon is more expensive.

I try for a dollar or less. I like making my own which is cheaper but they aren't shelf stable so you lose some of the convenience.

I only get them when they are less than $1. I can find them at Aldi very cheap.

I bought squooshi pouches off of amazon, they are refillable, so you can control what goes in and much cheaper than having to keep buying them!

For price per calorie, happy baby is one of the best. I try to get the ones with yogurt and grains to help fill him up. I get them off of Amazon.

I’m in Europe right now and pouches are so freaking expensive. Over $2.50. Ugh.

@gingerbebe: We have Costco but ours is such a pain to shop at, so I put it on our list for the next time we go.
@Dahlia: I was just remembering that we tried those clear ones last summer during another bout of teething. I think baby wasn't a fan of all the veggies.
All in all I don't think pouches are that nutritious by the time the produce is cooked, pureed and packaged but in the short term it's not a big deal. And they are very convenient!

It looks like you already found some, but for future reference there are ALWAYS coupons for pouches on Amazon, and you can stack them with the Subscribe and Save discount and get them for under $1/pouch

I also would consider the size and the content. I dont like paying more than $0.50 for applesauce (go go squeeze). But if I can get the Happy Tots which are usually more ounces and have a vegetable blended in, then I dont mind paying $1 each.

When my daughter was younger, we steamed veggies and pureed them to use in the pouches.
