we went garage-saleing earlier, hung out with my sister then came home for a nap. LO didn't sleep long enough for me to fall asleep but the rest felt great anyhow.

It's 10pm and I finally got the baby to sleep after nursing for like EVER. Since DH is at a friends tonight I just finally heated up some leftover burrito pie and am watching Dawson's Creek on netflix. I am tired after shopping for hours today. Macy's and Sears both had a sale on carters clothes so we totally scored!
I can't wait to put her in the sweet dresses I got!

Took the step-kiddos to a free pool party held by our lawn care company (why? not sure, but yay free pool party! :)) It was a bit cool for swimming but they didn't seem to mind. Only tried to kill each other a few times (sigh). Then we baked cookies ^^.

OMG, that smoothie is bigger than she is!
We packing up to head to the farm for the weekend. DH will be stacking hay, I'll be baking and delivering drinks to those stacking the hay, and Nola dog will be pestering the horses. Looking forward to hearing some crickets tomorrow night. It's great to get out of the city once in a while. -
Was supposed to go have drinks and nachos with some friends, but my car died! Ended up waiting for a tow instead. Sigh.

I am on putting LO to sleep duty tonight - ie laying on the floor until he goes to sleep. Earlier we took the kids out to dinner at this Cajun place we frequent - raw oysters, shrimp étouffée.. yum!
