I have to pick LO up from daycare so I'm making something easy, homemade hamburger helper with steamed broccoli and maybe some garlic bread. I use this recipe http://divascancook.com/homemade-hamburger-helper-recipe-cheeseburger-macaroni/
DH and LO love it, plus it's easy to heat up whenever DH gets home from work. I prepped the ingredients this morning so all I have to do when we get home is throw it together!

uh, hot dogs I think... I'll do refrigerator challenge for myself. Not very inspiring!

We need something easy tonight, so its probably going to be BLTs or club sandwiches with avocado on wheat bread with fries or sweet potato fries from the freezer. DS will have some fries and fruit and something our freezer stash of meatballs, nuggets, fish sticks, and veggie patties. We have some leftover cake from our gender reveal to eat after the baby's asleep!

@KT326: I love that recipe, I use it regularly! I do up the amount of herbs and spices though.
We're having roasted garlic Alfredo lasagna from this recipe, http://www.foodiewithfamily.com/roasted-garlic-spinach-alfredo-lasagna-make-ahead-mondays/ . I did a cauliflower Alfredo sauce like the one linked to in the last comment on the recipe page, though, to make it a little healthier. This is the first time I've made it so I hope it's good! I made it last night so it just needs to be heated up when we get home. I'll steam some asparagus to go along with it.

@PurplePeony: Same here, I should have mentioned that! I think I almost doubled the amount of spices. We like lots of flavor!

I think we're having chicken Caesar salads with homemade dressing. We went out last night and had pasta and we're going on a date night tomorrow and will have rich foods so I feel like I want something lighter tonight!

Easy baked chicken and baked potatoes. Nothing fancy on work nights!

Pork chops (already cooked) with baked sweet potatoes (also already cooked) and rice. We are running on empty. That's basically the last of the food here lol

@MrsSCB: I'm totally going to try that!
We have been blessed by friends bringing us meals so we haven't had to cook at all lately. Tonight we are having a ravioli bake. Tomorrow, my co-workers are bringing over chicken pot pie. We are so spoiled!

I made Pioneer Woman's slow cooker chicken tortilla soup (http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/slow-cooker-chicken-tortilla-soup/) Maybe I'll make some cornbread to go with it? I'm so glad I took the 10 minutes to throw it in the pot this morning! Plus it will give us yummy leftovers for weekend lunches.

@travellingbee: It was so easy, too, since it all just cooks in one pot. My favorite kind of recipe

@MrsSCB: DH is fajita obsessed so it sounds perfect.
After we have used up all this generosity and I am back to cooking, this is going to be first on the docket! Thanks!

Lately we've been making naan pizza. We just take a piece of naan, put pasta sauce, cheese, and chicken on top, and pop it in the oven. It is SO good.
