DH put a chicken in the crockpot. I'm working from home and am now smelling it. Not really liking the smell so we will see if I end up eating that for dinner.

I'm making Wendy's spicy chicken burgers, which is one of DH's favourite meals. I found a copycat recipe online and it is surprisingly like the real deal!

We've got friends coming over, so I've got a salad, pulled pork, creamed corn and baked potatoes, followed by little, personal chocolate lava cakes for dessert. Crossing my fingers it all comes out well!

Hmm...well, we have leftover cajun pasta, so probably that, but I'm really craving a burger and fries, so I might see if I can talk DH into that instead.

YES! I got DH to pick me up a burrito instead. I just don't think I'd be able to eat the roasted chicken he had planned for dinner tonight.

@rattles: This is the recipe I use: http://www.food.com/recipe/wendys-spicy-chicken-fillet-sandwich-134437
The comments on the recipe indicate that you get a nice crispy coating if you dip the chicken breast first in flour, then in a beaten egg, then flour, and then in the hot sauce. The original recipe only has you dip the chicken in flour twice, but the third coating definitely gives it the restaurant finish. I always make it that way!
You can either deep fry or bake the fillets, but our favourite hands-down is deep fried. Not so waistline friendly but oh-so-good! That's why we usually have a salad with this meal!

Mmm... reading about everyone's dinner at midnight is making me hungry. I made pasta fagioli, and it was delicious. I would heat myself another bowl if it wasn't so late.
