We had turkey chili. But now I really want some ice cream or something to balance it out. Greek yogurt will have to do!

@chopsuey119: hold up. Is this a confirmed eating for three or still just a hunch???
In answer to the original question... Chicken fajitas and rice a roni!

@Leialou: Wendy's is a weakness of mine, esp the spicy chicken sandwich!
We had spaghetti squash with a homemade bolognese sauce.

I want some of that! We had the in-laws over yesterday and still have leftovers - I made way too much food. Hawaiian chicken and tons of mac salad to go along with it. There's also some leftover pulled pork I made the day before. But I'm not craving any of it!

Hubs had ham sandwiches. I had a cheese and rotisserie chicken sandwich while I was putting together our huge chicken pasta salad that should get us through the next few days' lunches.

It was pizza night in our house! $7.99 large 3 topping carryout from Domino's... so cheap. We all eat it for dinner then Wagon Jr. has it for lunch the next day. Probably his favorite time of week... he sure loves his "peessa".
These days we've been getting ham, pineapple, and onion. Wagon Jr. picks off everything, eats the ham, ignores the pineapple and onion, then eats the pizza. It's so cute.
@Crumbs: could you share your hawaiian chicken recipe?? sounds interesting!!!

Yesterday I made tilapia with a mango butter sauce, brown rice, and a salad. Tonight we're picking up WaWa hoagies because we're leaving for vacation tomorrow and need to pack and not do dishes.

@jessiejo17: I put a roast in the crock pot tonight, as well. We're doing steak sandwiches tonight, if they come out okay. First time with this recipe.

@mediagirl: You'll have to let me know how it goes, I've been trying to use the crockpot more and find more recipes for i!
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@jessiejo17: I will. I didn't have enough bouillon, so I'm hoping it tastes okay but with everything else in the pot (beer, wine, soy sauce, some bouillon cubes) I'm hoping it comes out okay.

@jessiejo17: it was absolutely delicious!! Seriously, I could have eaten it all night long. I used this recipe but used a rump roast and no beef concentrate - http://www.simplyscratch.com/2012/02/crock-pot-french-dip-sandwiches.html?m=1

@mrs. wagon: I got the recipe here:
http://www.adashofthyme.com/2011/08/hawaiian-grilled-chicken.html
But I use chicken breasts, regular soy sauce, no green onion (but double the onion), and sesame paste (3x more) instead of sesame oil because it's what I have in hand. I've made it twice so far, once only marinating it for 2 hours, this last time overnight. I also yet to BBQ it. DH quickly pan fries it.
When I make it again, I'd cut the soy sauce in half (for overnight marination). It was still good, but a little too salty for me (though everyone else seemed to love it).
Here's the Hawaiian Mac Salad recipe as well:
http://bowllicker.com/blog/fat-hawaiian-style-macaroni-salad/
I made it the night before. I added teriyaki sauce, pineapple chunks and cucumbers. Next time, I'll use low-fat mayo.
