Friday- Dinner at my favorite outside restaurant so we can bring our pup
Sat- We're taking LO in the pool for the first time, and to an arts and crafts festival.
Sun- Lunch BBQ event with a Jewish organization for kids, and there will be fun water things there. Then probably go to eat at my in laws.

Long weekend here in Boston!! The city basically shuts down on Monday for the Boston Marathon (Patriot's Day).
Tonight: going out with some old co-workers for dinner
Saturday: friends of ours (a pregnant couple) coming over for dinner, game night, and sleepover
Sunday: church, then a friend's birthday party lunch
Monday: going to the mall to abuse my friend's Destination Maternity discount, then maybe Ikea OR pick up my new engagement ring if it's ready!

@artbee: yes we LOVE GAME NIGHTS. This couple is really into games as well so we're really excited. The guy is into jigsaw puzzles as well (as am I) but that usually takes an entire day/night... so we may or may not do that too.
and I WILL post pics, I promise!! I am just in agony because I'm afraid it's not going to be what I wanted. I wish I could just pick something out and take it home, but getting it custom made means being able to use my center stone, making sure it sits flush with my wedding ring, and it's also cheaper since our jeweler is the bomb. I can't WAIT to see it!

Friday: Dinner with a friend who is also going to take me paint shopping since I appear to have the worst luck when it comes to paint.
Saturday: Paint the dining room or the nursery. Spend some time cleaning.
Sunday: Church, spend some more time cleaning.
By cleaning, I mean big time cleaning - scrubbing floors, wiping down ceiling fan blades, dusting, cleaning baseboards, the works.

@mrs. wagon: What games do you play? I'm awful at trivia games but I love them. I'm also awful at pictionary but love it. It's just embarrassing because I have an art degree but it's not so easy to draw under pressure! I'm sure your ring will be beautiful, can't wait to see it!

@artbee: every time I buy a shade, it's wrong. The last time was when I bought gray paint for the dining room. It looked like a baby boy's room. This time, I bought coral paint. It looks hot pink on the walls. Sigh. Waste.Of.Money.

@artbee: if you love trivia you should try Wits and Wagers. It's a mix of trivia and betting. You don't have to be good at either! It's SO FUN. You need at least 3 or 4 people. Telestrations is good as well, it's like pictionary and telephone put together. You draw something, the next person guesses what it is and writes it down, the next person sees their guess and draws that... etc. It's hilarious to see what the end result is.
P.S. Funny about the art degree because this thread is bringing up ads for the MFA... which is where I am right now! I work here!! haha. So strange to see ads for my workplace on hellobee while at work!!!

@mediagirl: oh no! I'm not always the best either with paint because I don't get samples. I just get the paint and paint it! The front of our house now has very bright yellow and green trimming. I didn't mean for it to be so bright.... but I still love it. Our neighbors, not so much.
@mrs. wagon: That game sounds like so much fun! I'll have to get it. Do you play apples to apples? That's another one that you don't have to be good at, you just have to know who you're playing with. We love the Jewish addition.

@enjollah: I LOVE sequence!! It is one of my favorite games and it's one Hops and I can play in peace - and not want to kill each other when it's over. Give us a game like Apples to Apples and the claws come out. I have a bit of a probably with control and needing to win.... This weekend I had to lay some knowledge on my Dad because he was running Balderdash wrong. Haha.

We are going to be working some more on the nursery, washing the baby clothes, cleaning out the closet, and posting a few things to sell on Craigslist. We also have plans to meet up with some friends on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

I'm finally getting my wedding gift! YAY!!
We're extending our patio in the back from 100 sq ft to 300 sq ft and then leveling the yard, adding sprinklers and landscaping. SOOOO excited to finally have a yard that we can entertain in.

Saturday: Some shopping, and then my baby shower (YAY)
Sunday: Registry completion shopping trip, nieces 1st b-day party, then drive back home.
Should be a fun but busy weekend!

Tonight is dinner at Red Robin with my grandparents and (much) younger brother. We're picking him up to stay with us for the weekend. Tomorrow we're helping DH's cousin move and going to a housewarming party. Sunday is church, Costco and relaxing hopefully!

Tomorrow: Auction in the morning then nothing in the afternoon since they're predicting crazy rounds of tornadoes (I live in Kansas)

Just another weekend of bedrest for me - getting bo-ring. DH is on call all weekend too and so probably has to spend a fair amount of time at the hospital. My brother is visiting Saturday and I plan to watch a couple movies. I'm internet shopped-out. Any suggestions?? (Recently watched Girl With Dragon Tattoo, Young Adult, Descendants).

I just got back from a Scotty McCreery concert with my sister and mom. It was a lot of fun!!
The next couple of days I will be spending my time on the beach and relaxing because on Monday I go back to work after 10 days off!
