No big plans tomorrow. I want to go to Hobby Lobby for supplies for R's birthday. Then we need to hit up Costco. Sunday I have a baby shower. It is going to take all afternoon cause it is 45 mins away. I hate to miss a whole afternoon with R but some time with my girls will be good.

My work holiday/winter party is tomorrow. But I'm kind of dreading it this year. My skin is broken out so bad on my chest and back...I feel like I have nothing to wear!

Tonight we are just hanging out at home. Tomorrow I have to go to a wake for the mother of a friend/coworker, Sunday we are hanging out with friends to watch the footballs games, and then Monday I'm having a girls day with some of the other mom's from my day care since we have work off but day care is open.

Birthday weeknd for me! Dh's friend is coming into town so we're hanging out with him tomorrow. Eating Korean BBQ. Gonna take the kids to a play gym too.
Sunday is my bday, so church, brunch and maybe an outing with the kids in the pm. -

We're leaving LO with a baby sitter for the first time tonight! I'm so excited to go out.
I think tomorrow we'll go to the Arboretum. And you've reminded me we need to go to Costco to stock up on meat. Fortunately A is still at an age where going grocery shopping counts as an exciting adventure.

Running my first 10k. I am excited and terrified at the same time, I just hope I can finish :). The bonus is my husband and I get a night away since we have to be at the race early in the morning.

Tonight we have DHs work holiday/awards banquet. My sister is in town so tomorrow we are going to my dads to celebrate Christmas with her. Sunday a couple friends are coming over to exchange Christmas gifts.

We survived or first 10k. It took an hour and 34 minutes which is pretty slow but I placed 5,400 something out of 10,000 runners. My goal was to just make it. Now I have to work on my time before trying for a half marathon.

@mediagirl: we probably didn't train as much as most people. We mostly did 45 minutes (3 miles) three times a week. Then a few longer runs on Saturdays. We had actually only run 6 miles once before the race.
@blackbird: it did to me a year ago. I started with a 5k in August then worked up to this 10k. My husband and I were laughing because a year ago when we started to train we had trouble doing 30 second intervals now we say a short run and mean 3 miles.
