Stain removal is like a part time job at our house. We use:
Shout, Oxyclean, Blue Dawn, Goo Gone. Our tools are a toothbrush and a bucket.
We do a lot of hot water + Oxyclean soaks and use Goo Gone and Blue Dawn to remove grease stains and water spots.

Just oxyclean. The spray for new stains, the powder and soaking if stains don't come out with just the spray. After that, I give up.

@mediagirl: I never thought about Goo Gone for grease stains. How do you do it? R got stains on a brand new shirt and I dried it before I saw it, so it is going to take some magic to get it out.

Dawn, oxyclean stain stick, buncha farmers stick, oxyclean soak.
If those dont do the trick I 86 it.

@Smurfette: I start by spraying some directly into the washer water. If that doesn't do it, I apply it directly.

I rub Fels Naptha laundry bars into my stains and throw them in the hamper.

I have shout spray and scrubber, and also a more natural stain remover from Better Life... I haven't encountered anything I can't get out.. yet.
