The extended family all gets together on Christmas Eve. We each bring something for an appetizer dinner.

Christmas Day with my immediate family is cheese danish and breakfast casserole for breakfast. Lunch is appetizers leftovers. Dinner is steaks, baked potatoes, and salad.

We will be home on Christmas Day just the three of us and doing the same thing most likely.

Breakfast is something sweet and a quiche.

Dinner is like Thanksgiving - turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cheesy casserole, green beans.

We snack in between breakfast and dinner.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I am going to make them ahead and freeze them, and then crisp them in the oven. I have to do a test run to see if it works, though. I've done it with waffles, just not pancakes.

It is super random-it's potluck style in DH's family. We do carved sandwiches and italian beef...I'll probably bring bulgolgi again and some dessert

I haven't decided on breakfast yet for the three of us, though!

We do a big family dinner for Christmas Eve and again on Christmas Day. This year we’re also having a large Christmas Day brunch, because my brother’s gf has to work later that day (nurse).

Usually we host Christmas Eve and do a multi-course dinner. Start with a soup or salad (usually soup) and then a small pasta or salad, followed by main course and dessert.

Christmas Day dinner is usually a first course (usually salad), followed by main course of beef wellington, asparagus with hollandaise sauce and another side, followed by dessert.

I’m not sure what we’re doing for the brunch this year – my mom is hosting it and has said she’s thinking about making hollandaise, so we’ll have to switch up the dinner plan a little then.

we do four Christmases... two are potluck style with ham and then we host Christmas morning with Danish and breakfast casserole then we do prime rib spinach bacon salad and crushed peppermint and chocolate dessert .. my favorite meals by far.
Anyone have any good breakfast casserole recipes? I didn't like mine as much last year

Haha I was just just thinking about this in the MOTN!

Christmas day is our big dinner and we also invite my ILs over in the morning to open presents so we'll also do a small brunch.

Christmas dinner is a prime rib we dry age. My family might E coming up this year so we'll have ten adults and 7 kids. We also plan to roast a turkey and smoke a ham. I need to think of sides!

We will also be hosting eve so we're thinking about making our homemade meat sauce. It simmers all day and is so delicious! Easy and simple and feeds a big crowd!

@regberadaisy: I do but it's only a 10inch would that serve 4 adults one kiddo? (drooling over here)

We're going to do our big dinner on Christmas Eve at my parents'. That's the day my grandmother can make it up there, otherwise we'd do it on Christmas day. We're having beef tenderloin, and probably potatoes? Other veggies? IDK, haha. I'm kind of liking the idea of doing Christmas brunch too. I'd like to do something to make that day more special.

We usually have the same sides as Thanksgiving with a prime rib. Hosting at my house this year, should be the same. I found a Cabernet cranberry and blueberry sauce recipe I'd like to try, yams, greenbean casserole, fruit salad, carrots, and mashed potatoes. I know I'm missing some.

Everyone's coming to our new house for Christmas Eve. I'm going to do a spiral ham with roasted broccoli, candied sweet potatoes, salad, bread (I'd like to make popovers), and maybe another side. For dessert, I'm making butter cookies and gingerbread cookies and my mom will bring a fancy cake and struffoli.
