My main goal this week had been to get all of the laundry folded and put away. I'm getting close! I hate folding laundry!

Start dinner - halfway checked, chicken is marinating and oven is pre-heating

Get in the treadmill when DH gets home

Tomorrow is folding laundry day and packing for our trip

It's my first Wednesday attempt at this! We haven't been to church on a Wednesday for over a year b/c of DH's schedule... I'm kinda tired of not being there so we're gonna do it!

@Running Elley: It was used of Craigslist but this is the one that I'm hopefully going to be the proud new owner of soon!
I was just searching for a Graco one for the infant car seat to click into and since the car seat is Graco... I'm hoping it won't be too bulky in my trunk but it'll be used for a while, me thinks. And if we decide to change to another double stroller when they get a little older, we'll probably gift this one to one of the grandparents!

@Running Elley: Well I only ran 3 miles this morning, but I will dedicate one of them to you! Haha.
This thread is making me feel lazy. But in my defense, if I do help my dad with his garden, my parents are feeding me dinner, so make dinner and clean the kitchen isn't on my list. And our apartment has been clean lately because it's being shown to prospective tenants.
Oooh I remember one more thing, though:

@Running Elley: off topic: DH has plans to go into ministry professionally... when a recent opportunity came open we realized our lack of attendance & involvement was really against him. It was a real eye opener that if church was going to be an integral part of our religious beliefs, we just need to dig in our heels & get it done. I'm kind of nervous about committing to serve again! eek!

@Running Elley: If you have a stroller that works with your infant car seat and you have a nice umbrella stroller, than no. The only time I've had real difficulty is when it comes to doctor visits and I was initially going into the doctor's office solo (had a friend meeting me there) It was impossible trying to steer two strollers. Add to that the fact that the umbrella stroller that I had, while a little nicer than the $20 ones you see at Target since this one folds in half, the wheels were impossible to turn even when I did just have to take care of one stroller.
Mainly, the double stroller for now is so that we can take a walk around the campground with both babies and one stroller or later on next month we hope to take both kids to the zoo. So for the first few months? Not necessary. I had wanted to get a double stroller that matched the car seat that we have pattern wise but for $50, this is a steal and the pattern is nice and relatively neutral. I'm excited.

@runsyellowlites: Props to you for digging deep and doing it though. It is so hard... Especially with all of the responsibilities that come with having children. And it's one of those things, in my experience, that once you do it and it becomes more habitual it becomes almost second nature. Good luck!

Get out of work, get home (1 hour commute YUCK), pack for overnight at casino with DH, bathe DS, nurse, put him down, head downtown for dinner at 8pm, and then parttttttttttttttttttty with DH all night. (Ha, more like pass out in the huge hotel bed after dinner.)

@NaturallyCathy: That makes a lot of sense. We have a single BOB and the infant carseat adapter that fits it and our carseat. We were kind of thinking that we can stroller one and wear one? I'm not sure how realistic that is (especially since DS is already huge lol). I'll definitely start looking for an umbrella stroller. I think that would be a practical purchase for us.

@Running Elley: Exactly. When we go shopping, we pop her car seat into (what is essentially) a wire frame stroller and plop him into the seat of a shopping cart. I bring a baby carrier with me for when she gets fussy (my Beco) and when he needs a break from the cart we just carry him. My car has two strollers in the back right now. Her minimum stroller and his umbrella. The double is just for when we expect to be out a long while, as I mentioned.

@Running Elley: Are there any other libraries near you that do? Some of the ones around here you just need a system-wide card instead of a library card for that specific library. It's fun and I've already met some "mom friends."

@Running Elley: Sooooo I got P to take another nap (she had be only taking 1 but with church I really wanted her to get 2)... it totally required me to lay with her the whole time though so cleaning, writing, and reading have all been scratched off the list as lost causes for the day & I'm moving on to prepping for dinner & church! lol *we will go*

I work from home full time now (woohoo, dream come true!) so I have more time during the day for house-stuff. Today's list was:
Usual am stuff: shower, breakfast, take LO to daycare, check email, etc.
Finish up marketing work project - few hours
Finish up real estate offering work project - few more hours
Work on gallery wall
laundry
make lunch
Skype with potential client about work - hour or so
More work
Fold laundry and put away
Get LO's invitations printed at print shop
Pick up invites, and LO from daycare
Make LO's dinner
LO bath (she's in the tub now!)
