Charlie's room has ants in it. Recently as he was leaving his room, he turned and said, "Don't worry, ants! I be right back!"
What's some funny stuff your LO has said recently?

Haha, I'll go with an ant story, too. We have some ants in our house, too, and the LO usually wants me to kill them but there was this one ant that wasn't moving so she said "No, sssssh, the ant is sleeping".

We've been looking at baby pictures of my daughter to talk about babies since her little sister is due in a few weeks. One set of pictures was from her first Christmas, and she is currently obsessed with Christmas for some reason. One of the pictures had her in a Santa hat and she pointed to it and yelled, "That's baby me when I was Santa!"

LOL, that's so cute. LO's too little to talk but she's getting good at repeating words with a "b" sound. This morning I was telling her, "You're a big baby...Baby, baby, baby" and she gurgled back to me, "bay-bay". But this afternoon, I was trying to coax her into saying "baby" again so I said, "Say 'baby'! Baby!" and instead she starts waving "byebye". I think I'm confusing her.

I can't wait until my son starts talking fully! All of these stories are cracking me up!

Lately Lala has been teasing me by calling me "Mommy". She knows I prefer Mama, so she says, "Hi Mommy... I mean Mama... I mean Mommy... Mama..." and on and on! When I correct her she says, "You mean mommy".
She's also been calling her new friend Oviler, despite the fact that she can say Oliver... she just likes the way she says it. I'll catch her sometimes saying it right and then switching it up.
Finally, she's also been telling fanciful stories of her dreams or just things she's made up. They are like something out of a German expressionist film... so she'll be talking about she and her friend gathering eggs in a chicken house, and then she'll switch to she and the chicken sitting in a tree and then she'll add in a kitty or a motorcycle or helicopter.
"The chickens were bokking in the chicken house while I was getting the eggs with Zan (her friend). The eggs were green and blue and pink and brown. And I was in the tree holding the chicken... and then the kitty came and sat next to us and then we were crossing the street holding mama's finger with the motorcycle." (As an example).
It's really fun to see a window into how she thinks!

Haha cute!!
Yesterday we were leaving the house but we left through the backdoor (near our basement). DS looks downstairs at the basement and says "it's dark down there...maybe there are ghosts" and steps out the door lol. It made DH and I laugh but I'm not sure how he knows about ghosts?!

My daughter just turned two and informed me, "I not a baby. I a big girl. I a people." I asked her if Mommy was a people too and she told me, "No, Mommy a Mommy". How true that feels some days...

@LittleBeesMomma: Haha something similar happened today!
I affectionately called Charlie, "Charlie Bear." He turned to me with his hands on his hips and said, "Daddy, we not bears. We people!"
