Today I asked for a raise at work. I've been putting it off for a few months even though we need the money, mostly because I was afraid that my boss would say no. Not only did he not say no, he showed me where he had already written down "Maisymay review" on his to do list before I came to talk to him, said that he'd been thinking about it, and asked me for 48 hours to finalize a response. Score!
