It's something I see come up in the posts every once in a while - someone swears by Baby Bjorn, someone else loves the Ergo, a sprinkling of Moby lovers, and then Mrs. Chalk's latest post - the Mei Tei. One I had never heard of before (surprise surprise).
The thing is they're all so - okay, in my opinion - expensive! How do you find one that works for you? I mean, really, we can't all test and try them out and then send them back if we don't like them just to get another one - can we? So what's your favorite baby holder and why?
I ask because I'm going to have to break down and get a different one. I had two that were gifted to me - one was a Baby Bjorn that was okay but never seemed to be very comfortable to the baby. Another one like the Baby Bjorn that was even more complicated - long since donated. And then my SIL and MIL swear by Mobys. I don't like them. I feel like there's too much fabric, too many twists and tucks and I didn't feel like it gave great support to my DS when he was first born. I didn't care for them using them while they took care of him but they swear he loved it...
But with this second one about to arrive, I'm going to need my hands free. I need something I can stay in for an hour or so before having to take a break, that's easy to put on and take off by myself, that's not terribly expensive (less than a hundred would be great) and that can be used daily. So machine washable. Suggestions?
