Also how old is your baby?
LO is 14 weeks, anything before 6.30am is still treated as nighttime.

6am. If she wakes before that I rock her to sleep, which *almost* always works. She's 7.5 mo

It changed based on age. I've started my day at 4:15 before. It was pointless to go back to sleep for an hour before work. Or i would get up intentionally to work out and be home by 540. Now that E is almost 2, anything before 6:30am would surprise me!!

5:10. LO is 22 months. We had 6 months or so where she woke up at 4:15 so I'm OK with 5:10.

Anything before 7 (realistically, Im cranky before 8) is a no go. We all like to sleep in around here.
pineapple / 12053 posts
gah, now a days (at almost 2 years old) I'd say 6:55, but that's because we've all been sleeping in because of holiday celebrations. before a month ago, i would say 6:30

I'd say 5, I could get more done if I'd get up then and that's close to the time C starts thrashing around.
eggplant / 11287 posts
honestly? I hate getting up before 8. I am a late nighter (usually 1 am is bedtime) and I am lucky my girls sleep until 8:30.

Well, if the past two days are any indication...5am Normally, I try to do what it takes to keep her asleep until 6:00, but she has other plans lately.

Never really willing to start my day! lol. I'd rather sleep. Kids I can usually keep sleeping til noon.

7am. DS is 18months and if he wakes up before 7 we put him back down.
Weekdays he usually wakes around 7:15 when my husband starts getting ready for work, weekends he will usually sleep till around 8.

5:30. But if they wake up that early DH takes them downstairs to play while he runs on the treadmill! I try not to get up before 6, but that doesn't always work. They are 8 months.

On a crossfit day, 5:15am....I go to 5:45am class. On a regular day, 6:30. LO typically gets up between 6:30 and 7.

7 am. But my LO has decided on a 6 am wakeup lately so I'm having to roll with it.

Anytime after 4:30/5am
ETA: I'd prefer it to be after 7 but I get up for work by 5:30 so if he is up at 5 there doesn't make much sense in coaxing him back to sleep.
honeydew / 7917 posts
I prefer to stay in bed until 6 but will wake up as early as 5. Ideally both kids sleep in until 8, and I might wake up rested.

at 26 months, 7 am is the earliest. But for a loong time, we started our day at 5:30, 5:45. Those were dark days (literally).

It is rare for her to wake up before 7:30, but I would say 6 is the earliest I could cope with!

If LO wakes before 7, we try and get her to co-sleep with us until that time. Although, some days I'm up at 6:15 or so for barre.

If left to his own devices, my son wakes up naturally between 6:30 and 7. There was a time, though, where he was up for the day at 5:30 and no amount of soothing or forcing would get him back to sleep, so I went with it.

LO usually doesn't get up before 6:30/7. Anything earlier is out of the norm

6 AM - he sometimes wakes up around 5:30 AM, but he will usually just happily babble in his crib.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
On the weekends, 6am. I get up at 5 during the week to work out, and LO gets up at 6 (which is a vast improvement from months of her getting up between 4:30-5:30am!) - DH is home with her during weekday mornings and he can't handle pre-6am ETA: LO is 20 months.

6. And even that that's rare. I will fight tooth and nail to get to 630. It's usually not a problem these days (knock on wood).

@littleblessings: Wow! By noon my son has usually already had two naps. But he's only 4.5 months.

6 am. I will not go get her until 6 am. Even that is too early, but what can you do about it. She usually wakes around then anyways, but sometimes she will attempt a 5-530 and well that's just too early when we've already been up 2-3 times.

lately, 7:20-7:30. in the past, 6:30-6:45. he's usually pretty good about hanging out in his crib until I get him up for the day at 7:30, but if he starts crying I will get him up earlier, but never before 7.
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
Well, usually my kids are up around 7. I'd be okay with anything after 6:30 though.
watermelon / 14467 posts
I can't handle anything before 6:00. Anything before then is still nighttime. She is 15 months old.
ETA: this is purely for me. I am a crabby pants if something happens and I have to get up between 11 pm and 6 am. Everything is 1000x worse during those hours.
