Depends on your area, but probably minimum wage. That's what it was at VS when I worked there. I worked there full time but its a good job. Good discount, free stuff. The temp employees work through semi-annual sale in January and then they keep the ones they like.

Hmmm, I worked at Williams Sonoma a few years ago during the holidays and the hourly wage was $10.

I think Nordstrom is commissioned but you will make at least minimum wage. I'd work in shoes or accessories if you go there!

@zippylef: yea! I worked at VS, too.. started for fun one holiday season and stayed for 7 years, haha. I miss it this time of year! but it was always my second job and with a baby now would be impossible to do.

@regberadaisy: a commission job at Bloomingdales or Nordstrom would be totally worth it because holiday shoppers are going to buy regardless but an hourly job probably wouldn't be worth it, most are minimum wage and long hours.

@rachiecakes: I got it as a part-time college job for a semester and worked there for 5 years! lol. It sucks you in. I only quit once we moved to the UK. By the time I quit, I had held every position except store manager!

@rachiecakes: Girl, I feel you. All my awesome bras and lingerie are all 34C, I'm a 36D post-baby. SO sad.

@regberadaisy: When I was unemployed I switched to a retail job because I thought I would make more money...I didn't! And the schedule is hell sometimes because they can switch you at any moment.
