we went back and forth on this, especially since Wagon Jr. started sleeping thru the night so early. For a while when he was having diaper rash problems we'd change him around midnight and he was ok with going right back to sleep. but we never go in there now!

I don't change in the middle of the night.. the longest we've gone is probably 14 hours? No rashes yet!

my baby is only a month old, so the longest is about 4 hours

When DS was a newborn, I would change his diaper every time he woke up to eat at night...or if he woke up screaming and couldn't be soothed. He's always been really sensitive when it comes to his diaper. He wants it changed immediately! Now that he's older, we're able to go longer stretches. At night, I only change his diaper if he wakes up to eat. Most of the time, he sleeps but sometimes he'll wake up for one feed (it depends on how our day went and how many feeds he got in). He usually goes 12 hours without a change. The longest he's gone is 14 and we haven't had any issues. FWIW, we use Pampers baby dry diapers.
