Two or three days. I didn't have anywhere to go so I didn't shower. Once I showered I definitely had to wash the sheets.

oh. And the longest I've gone is probably 2 or 3 days. I'm the kind of person who HAS to shower in the morning or I feel sick / get a headache.

three days. after that, I feel like insects follow my head around looking for a nest.

lately, i take a shower every day (but wash my hair every other day).... the longest i've gone without showering..... i want to say a week? i can't remember. i THINK when i had the d&c, i wasn't allowed to shower for awhile - i want to say a week. maybe not, it's only been a year and a half ago and my memory sux.

btw, hope you recover nicely! ouch! sounds painful.

4 days while camping.

As an adult.. 2 days. As a child probably a week? Ha!

Eight days while trekking to Mount Everest Base Camp. At the first opportunity of hot water, I paid $8 for a shower; best $8 spent.

5 days when we went backpacking in Yellowstone. I was so beyond gross by the time we were done -- think super dry dirty skin and hair saturated in sun screen and DEET The night that we hiked out it was incredibly difficult to decide which was the most important thing to do first -- eat, sleep, or shower, but shower won out!

I went 2 weeks without a shower while doing research in Australia. I did swim in the ocean during that time, but I'm not sure if that made me cleaner or not...my ponytail was like one big dreadlock from the salt! And my first shower after that was in a gas station bathroom on our way home, lol.

Then doing research in MN, I went 9 days without, and another few days before and after without, but where I could sauna and use a single bucket of cold water.

21 days!!! In my Jr year of high school I went on an outward bound backpacking trip that lasted 21 days. We took dips in the river when we could, but it was freezing (maine) and there was no soap. So when we got back I showered about 3 times in 18 hours. I really stunk. It was amazing to wash my hair. All of us who could, put French braids in our hair to keep it away from our face without geting too ratty.

A week. I went to a sleepaway canoe camp in 7th grade and there were no showers or bathrooms along the way either!
