I got a D- once in Econ 101 during my freshman year. I totally overslept and missed my final! I had to retake the class and got a B+. I still have recurring nightmares about missing a final exam at school because of that incident!

I got a C in AP History in 11th grade. I hated it so much, especially because I tried so hard in that class. Luckily, our teacher made our tests harder than the AP exam which we all passed with well above what we needed to make.
It also motivated me to never make a C again. I never even got below a B in college.

I failed a class once because I hated going to it, so I skipped it and stayed longer being a teachers aid...why no one noticed is beyond me!

My lowest grade through high school was a C... in gym. How embarrassing, but I just really, really suck at volleyball. I also got a C in calculus 2 freshman year of college-- a combo of horrible teacher, bad study habits, and maybe some lack of preparedness to begin with, but I'd blame the teacher and me not trying hard enough the most.

I failed an algebra class that I never went to in my first year of University. That was the dawning moment when I realised that I couldn't skate through school anymore and actually had to apply myself. I retook the class and got an A.

I got a c in philosophy in college. Probably bc I kept falling asleep in class. The prof was soooooooooooo boring and had one of those monotonous voices.....I couldn't help myself.

@banana: I'm pretty sure I got a D in every single Econ class I took in college... and as a business major, I took at least 3 - 4 econ classes!

I got a few Cs in my Honors math classes in HS. I struggled with math (still do) and really shouldn't have been taking Honors math classes.

I got a C in Woodworking. I just am not cut out to do hands-on stuff like that!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: serious?
D- in Economics. Didn't need it, didn't repeat it. I see Econ gave @sweetchic: and @banana issues, too!! Haha.

Oh god. I feel so dumb.
I failed grade 11 math with a 32%.
I took the same class in grade 12 with a different teacher and got 98% but still... 32%... ugh! Clearly I didn't ever do much during that class.

In college I got mostly As and a few Bs for my final grades, but I once got a "B-/C+" on a paper in an English class during undergrad. That stung! I was an English major and had never seen a C on a paper before.

In high school the lowest was a C I think. In college, I flat out failed calculus and organic chem the first times around. I made A's the 2nd time though!

Haha in high school the worst I got was a C in Physics when I just did.not.get.it. I got a tutor and ended up with an A, but still!! I'm ashamed to say I failed a few classes in college, partly because I was having serious personal issues, but also because I gave up.

The lowest grade I got in a class was a C. Calc I and II were not my favorite.
Test-wise...well...I have gotten all the way down in the 40 percentile before. Pretty standard at my university. They like to make tests ultra hard for students so the class average is like an F on the exam, but then they have to curve the crap out of the class. I don't get it. Maybe they like to make engineering students fail stuff so they feel dumb for once? Ha.
@boiledpnut, i know a LOT of folks who failed organic chem! That class was BRUTAL

C in Anthropology. I hated any non science/math class and always did so bad in them!

can you get lower than an F?
I failed gym - I got beat up in class, so I never went. They let me use my gym membership in place of gym class, so I did pass in the end.

@banana: I got a C in communications, and that was a miracle! Waited til senior year to take it, the. Skipped class once a week the whole semester. Hate public speaking!!

I got a couple C's while in college. Calculus, Chemistry, Computer Science. (Those freakin' classes that start with C!) I believe I had to re-take Chemistry and Calculus to get a better grade for my program. Summer classes was so much easier the second time around. I still have no idea how I passed Calculus. Haha.
My younger sister said she tutors Calculus students and she really enjoyed her Calculus classeS! She had to take Calculus 1, 2, and 3. She's an engineer. I could not do that.

Never got below a B in high school and college except for one class. Financial Accounting. I recieved a D. I was really terrible at it and had an awful teacher. But it led me to the discovery that I never ever wanted to have a career in accounting. Except I'm a bookkeeper now. Yup, love my job.

I never got below a B throughout all my schooling. Bs made me really upset!

During grade school, I never got anything lower than an A! In college, mostly A's with like 2 classes with a B except for Western Anthropology which I received a C in because I did not understand that class at all!!! Had to take it to fulfill a course load so that totally sucked.

Failed my Comp Sci course in Scheme and Prolog during first year uni. Man who even use those languages!

My lowest grade would be a C from high school on. Lower grades would be a D because I am absolutely horrible at Math. I couldn't keep up.

I got like a 24. In HS chemistry. But I was actively (and immaturely) trying to avoid putting in any effort whatsoever. What... a dweeb.
In College I got a D in 3 classes. All math related- go figure.

I got a couple C's in college. Social Research Methods (because the prof was an ass) and Senior Seminar--we didn't take any tests or have any assignments. We were just supposed to read stuff, come to class, and discuss. The prof gave everyone the same grade at the end of the semester, and apparently we didn't live up to his expectations.

I got a C+ during one quarter of physics class in high school
though I never got below a B for a final grade.

I failed 3rd grade math. Basically, I was at a very small school of 7 kids (overseas), the only one in my grade, and the teacher just handed us the textbooks and expected us to be fine by ourselves. I was miserable.
Weirdly, once I reached highschool I was in all the highest math classes and consistently got As.
My lowest grade at university was a B+.

I think I had straight C's in all my high school math classes, B's in science classes, and A's in everything else.

@mediagirl: well, leg me elaborate. I got a D+ in chemistry once. I am soooo bad at chemistry it isn't even funny. But the school let me retake the exact same class from the exact same teacher the next semester so I could get a better grade. So my new grade replaced my old grade. That's how bad I wanted a good gpa!
