I tend to buy higher end things (baby products or otherwise) if the quality and looks is worth it. Sometimes it's not that worth it but I want it anyway.

Maybe our high chair? It's the OXO Sprout. And the travel crib (Bjorn) was also a substantial investment, considering it wasn't much less than his normal crib. But we love them both, so definitely worth it!
Oh, we also have a BOB stroller, but I don't use it all that much.

Oh, I also own a Timi and Leslie diaper bag that I loved until I accidentally broke one of the straps. 
I have to get it fixed before baby #2 comes.

Hmm. We really don't own any nice baby equipment. I think the most we've spent is $300? LO has a floor bed, we decided not to buy a nice stroller since we wear her all the time..

Banana I have the bloom rocker too! Isn't it wonderful? Well worth the price! My biggest splurge besides clothing has been the Silver Cross Balmoral pram. I had to have it and had to ship it from Austrailia! My husband never asked how much it costs so I never bothered to tell him! @ecogirl: OMG what a beautiful pram!!! My best friend has a silver cross pram but not sure which kind. It's not nearly as gorgeous as yours though. She gets stopped on the street all time from mothers asking where she got it. And yes, I love the bloom rocker! Love the way it looks in my living room. I have to buy a new baby insert for baby #2 though. Lucky for me, I got it handed down from a family friend. Not gonna lie though. I may have bought it myself eventually. lol. Have you seen the Best Nest co-sleeper? So tempted to buy it! Would match perfectly with my natural wood Bloom Rocker.

Ours was our glider/rocker. We got a custom made one so that it could fit my husband (he's 6'8"). But the coolest thing we got was the Mamaroo swing. http://www.4moms.com/mamaroo

@ecogirl: Yup, it's a form of co-sleeping (like the Arm's Reach co-sleeper that's super popular with parents nowadays). I just love the way it looks! Man, I wish I could take a tour of your home! Sounds like my dream house! lol

I'm def more of a budget girl. Our most expensive baby items right now is the crib at a whopping $199! Very highly rated though so that's all I care about. Next would probably the the car seat at $189. Exciting, I know.

Most expensive? Our glider from Giggle. Our strollers were pricey too... Bugaboo Chameleon for DD#1, and Uppa Baby Vista for #2 (but i bought the Vista on Craigslist for about 1/2 off!). We've really made good use of all of these though!

Our poor baby won't have anything luxurious - it's all practical for us ... and on sale, can't forget that 
So far our biggest purchase has been a stroller, but it's considered cheap compared to the well-known brands. If we bought an Emmaljunga (the first stroller I liked) we would have paid 5x more with accessories!
I am eying the BabyBjörn Babysitter though and we'll likely spend tons on a carseat(s) since we're buying local. But other than that, I can't think of anything particularly posh for baby.

the stroller - we have a baby jogger city select - but we had to buy all these components - the 1 seater, 2nd seat, 2 trays, 2 chicco adapters....

I havent bought lux items for the baby. most everything i have is a really low price for what it is... the one expensive thing I will be buying is my Bum genius cloth diaper stash. its gonna cost me $399 for 24 diapers.

We ordered a custom glider and we totally regret spending that much on it... We definitely use it a lot, but we could have saved like $500 by just getting one from JC Penney or something.
We love our UppaBaby Vista but we don't count it as super luxurious since we got a discount on a brand new model. 40% off of retail, I think... and we got lots of free accessories too.
Other than that everything is bargain, sale, clearance, or hand-me-down

So far probably our Stokke Trip-Trap high chair... although technically it was a gift. We're also going to probably get a nice glider and an Oeuf crib for the nursery, so those will definitely be splurges.
...other expensive things are our cloth diaper stash and my breast pump, but I see those as necessities, not luxuries. They're an up-front investment but will save us money over formula and disposable diapers in the end.

Probably my crib (I got a Bratt Decor wrought iron crib...), or my strollers-I have a BOB (which was a gift) and the Uppababy Vista (which I got off zulily.com for just under $400). I was ok splurging on the crib since we borrowed our glider (which was a huge savings) and baby's dresser/changing table was a $49 craigslist score.
We're also planning on getting the motorola video monitor (the 3.5 inch one that pans and zooms) and the Boon high chair (with the pneumatic lift), which are splurges (since we could get a cheaper monitor and a cheaper high chair) but I figure buying things that #1 you are going to use and #2 are going to work as they are intended for as long as you use them arent splurges (since I could buy something cheaper, risk it breaking or not working properly, then I have to buy another anyways...why not spend the money up front?)
