How much does a large bottle hold? Like 9oz? I've filled up 2 in one session before when DS1 was a baby. I could have kept going but I stopped. I was a milk machine and could pump all day long.

10 oz, but it was my first pump of the day and it took me an HOUR to get that much!

I used to pump 15-16 oz in the morning. Now I only make 10 oz in the morning and then wayyyy less in my subsequent pumps. My supply has never really recovered after I got sick a couple months back.

Wow, I think I have a pretty good supply since I EBF my twins for almost a year but the most I ever got was around 11 or 12 oz and that was only when I was away from them overnight so first thing in the am...Usually I get 5-6 oz from typical pump at work but it only takes me 10-12 minutes to get that.

11oz? 7 out of my right and 4 out of my left. That's the day DS decided to sleep well and didn't nurse much during the night. My boob hurt to the touch!

9oz. But that was when I got mastitis (& didn't exactly realize what was happening) & I was scared it was going to hurt to nurse so my boob was rock hard & it had been like 5 hours or so before I got the courage to pump. That was all from one boob! I learned my lesson.

Im assuming in the newborn days I couldve pumped 8+ but the most was about 5.

@Trailmix: Ha, I know...I thought I had a pretty good supply, too! These pumpers are putting me to shame. It did only take me around 10-15 minutes to get the 9 oz, though.

9-10-ish? Usually I get 7 ounces the first pump, and 4-5 the other two times.

@meredithNYC: I feel your pain.... for LO #1 my highest was 2.5oz, maybe 3. for LO#2 my highest so far was FIVE oz... I took a picture. haha... it also took me an hour to pump the 5 oz.

I got 16 ounces at my peak pumping time! I had no idea how or why I got so much, but it was amazing.

I want to cry reading these responses! LO is ebf and the most I've pumped was 5oz. I think I don't have an over abundant supply and don't respond well to the pump, but I try not yo get stressed about it since he is thriving! Somehow he is getting enough!
