Sitting up. She has mastered rolling so right now we are working on sitting. She can sit with her hands supporting herself, but not on her own. It's so fun watching her grow and develop!

Our LO is a bit older...he is great at sitting so now we are working on lunging forward to transition to crawling. I also babble a lot to him (consonant sounds) to help him develop his language skills.

Sitting up,and crawling. She was up on all fours today for DH!

NONE! I like him this way. Once he got his head up on his own and smiled I was happy. Everything else is a bonus. I like the head-holding one so much because I'm not afraid of breaking the baby!

DS is 4 days old so our current milestone is latching and breastfeeding without causing me severe pain. Another one would be to stay awake long enough to finish a feeding session.

Rolling! She's already sitting, but we're working on getting better at it.

sitting and crawling!! He is getting so good at being mobile - he can scoot himself backwards and pull himself up onto his knees for a couple seconds. Or else he rolls to get from one place to another.
Sitting has been a long process though. Still not quite there but he is trying.

Speech here too! She is crawling but doesn't get into everything yet and I am not in a huge hurry to have her start walking ...but I am so excited to start communicating with her and to hear her little voice

Sawyer is just mastering rolling (he rolled/scooted 3 feet today)! Now we are working at sitting.

Standing. She can pull herself up and stand holding onto things. So I'm helping her stand on her own and also am "walking" with her. She'll be 9 months at the end of the month.

He's mastered rolling, already, so I'd say crawling. At this point I think he'll crawl before sitting up. He's really concerned with being mobile and has started trying to get up on all fours. We cant leave him on his playmat anymore because he can roll from one end of the room to the other in like 30 seconds. He's just so ready to get moving.

Walking & Talking. DS is not interested in walking at all. He could totally do it if he wanted to. He easily cruises around, even one handed. He's super fast. He's just not into it. I'm okay with it though. I chase after him as it is. I'm in trouble when he starts walking!!

Standing. She has pulled herself up to stand a couple of times, but doesn't seem super interested in doing it. She's behind in physical milestones. I think maybe she'll just walk one day out of the blue and skip everything in between.

Rolling over, although she seems completely uninterested in it. But she tries to do sit-ups whenever she's in a reclined position!

Rolling better(he only goes from back to belly on the left) and sitting up

Sleeping longer stretches. Last night I went in at midnight and patted her a bit until she settled down. She slept another hour after that. Not great progress considering she had her last feeding 4 hours earlier. She is rolling over from tummy to back and we're helping her realize she can push up more and more on her tummy. She's also showing signs of wanting to sit up so, we're encouraging that.

Crawling! I think DS will have it down in the next month or so!
For DD, letter recognition.

Sitting - and she screams bloody murder after 30 seconds. Maybe I'm teaching her wrong? I'm putting her into the sitting position, with her arms between her legs to help her prop herself up. She'll totter side to side (where I stop her from tipping over). Then screams. It's a "fun" game.

Speech. I'm teaching him words and having him identify them for me. He is doing a great job and learning words everyday. He can understand me, but speech is limited on his end (16 months). I'm trying not to worry and just take it one day at a time.

Sitting and rolling too!
She can sit by herself for about a minute but she really leans forward, rather than sitting up right. She rolls from belly to back but not from back to belly

Sitting, rolling over and grasping toys. He's rolled over once but I haven't seen him do it since. He can grasp some of his toys but he has not mastered it.

Rolling and sitting. We're doing okay with sitting, but she's content to stay on her tummy or just roll to her side to play.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
Rolling and sitting! He has been rocking away on his belly but no rolling yet (at least he doesn't scream during TT anymore...). He's pretty good at sitting - can sit propped in bumbo for a long time and also in his boppy., Can do tripod sit for 5-10 seconds. He seems to really like sitting.

Ummmm... can I go back a stage? I preferred it when she wasn't so mobile! LOL She's crawling up a storm and starting to cruise around the furniture, so I'm thinking that walking could be just around the corner. Every time I turn around, she's either in the dog dish, the dog's water or sneaking off to the bathroom to play with the toilet paper roll. Silly girl

@BabyBoecksMom: LOL that's why I said "none." But I would be horrified if he stopped making milestones so I'm trying to enjoy the moment.
