Our kids are obsessed with crispy bacon, but it's tough to get just right! If it's not crispy enough, they refuse to touch it... but if it's too crispy (aka burnt), then I feel bad serving it to them.

So basically, I stand over the pan and keep an eye on the bacon, and flip each piece pretty regularly (more than necessary), just to make sure it doesn't get burned. Once a week or so, some grease will spatter onto my face and I curse the day my kids discovered crispy bacon! There must be a better way!!

My friend swears by microwaving bacon, but I found it didn't taste as good (which I don't mind, but the kids don't really eat it that way).

What's the secret to easy crispy bacon?
