@evansjamie: I always thought yours was Evan's Jamie. I always thought DH was Evan.

Yerpie is the name of our dog, and his name came from a word DH and I made up while we were dating. And 110 is LO's birthday.

Corduroy was one of my favorite books as a kid and I was wearing cords when I picked the name.

My son's middle names are very similar to the "real" name of Zorro. Zorro means fox in spanish so DS's nickname is the little fox...

Nothing too creative....at the time I lived near the beach, so beachmama I became!

@mrs. 64: @evansjamie I always thought that, too!!
DH always teases that I'm "fussy" so it's kinda become a nickname.

HLK is short for my old user name (heatherloveskenny) which was our engagement shoot blog post title and the same name I used on WB.
The 20th is B's birthday and the 8th is E's.

nana is my nickname, but only my parents call me that, and not always. and the 87 is for our anniversary--august 7--but I realized after I made it that it looks like a birth year--1987, which was definitely not the year I was born! haha, I guess it helps with anonymity? and makes me seem younger?

@mrs. 64: @fussygal: Oh, I wish! DH's given name is James, but he goes by a nickname. I can't tell you how many people give me grief over that, James and Jamie, "must be confusing."

It's a nickname my friend came up for me when I was 14. It stems from my real name!

we used to call our baby "monkey" when she was a newborn because she had really long fingers and toes. but when she pooped, she was stinky monkey. and when she was sleeping, she was sleepy monkey.

My DH races Remote Control Cars. Hence MrsRcCar. We call DS our little speed racer.

"BK" is a common abbreviation for Brooklyn, where I live. "Carib" is because I was born in the Caribbean, and I'm also part Carib Indian through my Dad's side. Baby is pretty self-explanatory.

I used the same name at the wedding bee.
The name came from me saying to my DH, "honey, can you do..." DH made fun of me saying honey do this honey do that.

I commute/travel a lot for work, but mostly just regionally here in Northern California. Plus I love to travel generally. Oh and Wayfare Tavern is a really good restaurant in SF
Although I wish I'd picked something a little shorter...

It's a variation of my internet handles since I was 15. It came from a song called twist by a band call the metric.

@DigAPony: it's mine, too!
I had just created a new Pinterest board called "magpie" and I always joke that I love anything shiny...so MamaMagpie just popped into my head!

I originally chose "Mrs. Schoolbus" as my name, but I couldn't get past the fact that schoolbus = size of a bus! I know, silly So, then I chose the Cowgirl icon because I think she looks a little like me -- I had longer hair when I first started blogging and my eyes also turn into half moons/rainbows when I smile! I also chose it because Lil' CB's real nickname is CB and I liked that it could also stand for CowBoy!

@DigAPony: I know, right?! When I first noticed your name on a thread I thought "that woman must be really cool"
There was a period of time that I wanted to tattoo "radiate everything you are" on my wrist but, alas, I did not.

@CharityAnne: Mine is simply my name, too! But I love my name and I feel no guilt in not being more creative!

In the 1995 movie, Batman Forever, Nicole Kidman's character was named Chase Meridian. For some reason I absolutely loved the word "meridian" after that! I liked the way it rolled off the tongue... It became my AOL screen name in HS, and I even wanted to name my future daughter "Meridian", haha.

I have red hair and I live in Seattle. (ETA: you may even be able to see the Space Needle behind DH and I in my avatar.) Not terribly creative, but it works.

Oh geez, I kind of hate mine, but whatever... In middle school it was the first part of my email address, so whenever I sign up for anything it's always my username (it's the email address I use to sign up for things so I don't get my real email cluttered with spam). I didn't realize it would end up becoming my persona on here... Sometimes I want to change it, but I don't want to confuse people
