Video monitor for me!

With my first, it was absolutely a wrap. Or wait, my pump.
With my second? It was childcare for my first ;P

DH would say video monitor. I can't decide between the rock n' play or our beco gemini for all my grocery trips before he could it up in the cart by himself!

Right now at 10.5 months.. Baby gate/play pen! (We have a play pen that can open up and fence in the living room!)

Pump.. It's such a love hate relationship, but this is the thing that feeds my baby!

As much as I hated it, the pump. I wouldn't have been able to breastfeed my baby going back to work 7 weeks postpartum without it.
After that - the Ergo & stroller.

Ktan! I wouldn't have survived the first three months without it.

Stroller! We use it every day. I wish it had an odometer, we've put on a lot of miles.

With DS, it would probably have to be the swing we had for the longest. It was a consignment find, didn't work very well, from my ILs. He loved it until he got so heavy he practically broke the motor! My poor chubsters...
For DD, it seems to be the Beco Gemini. Sometimes she just does. not. want. to be put down but I have to do dishes, something with big brother, etc. So I pop her in the Gemini and we're good to go. A lot of times she'll fall asleep, even while outward facing! It's cute

@chopsuey119: I was totally going to be a smart @$$ and say diapers

Hmmm...I would also go with the video monitor, but the white noise machine is a close second.

Sound machine specifically one that's not the Sleep Sheep. It made getting through colic easier.

THE BECO! It is my magic cure for tears, fussiness, hyperactivity when i need him to calm down, etc....and all the while I am hands free and get other stuff done. And I like that it keeps my baby happy: happy baby = happy mommy.
Also useful for doing groceries/errands.

Definitely my K'tan! My LO loves it and so do I. Pump is a close second if that doesn't count as a necessity for a WOHM.

A good wrap. I would put that on my list for every number, just about. I can live without pretty much anything else (and do, for the most part), but that is just priceless.

Cradle swing. No way would we have survived the first 4-6 months without it.

Swing! She naps so well in it. I don't know what we would do without it. I really wish we had gotten the one the plugs into the wall instead of the battery operated one. I'm pretty sure we spend more a month on batteries than on diapers!

The SwaddleMe swaddle wrap things. Even though she busts out of them and still screams blue murder sometimes, they are bloody awesome!

Our stroller, we used it everyday for almost 2 years, it was literally my car. I miss it!
