I went through 28 years of my life not knowing my blood type. After the first round of prenatal blood work they told me I was O-, DH was like "you're O- and you never give blood?!?!"
What blood type are you?

O- here too! I didn't know until after I gave birth and they told me mine and LO's. I really should be donating.

I'm A+. I went through my whole life thinking I was O- because that's what my mom thought I was!!

@MamaMoose: This is what we've been wondering and everytime I've asked, the hospital won't tell me LO's blood type.

@Boogs: Just googled it. Yes, my kid is A+. A and B are both dominant over O. A and B are codominant (if one parent is A and the other is B the kid is AB). Positive Rh type is dominant over negative Rh type.

O+ - I found out when they sent me my blood donor's card after my first donation. I haven't gone in a while - between travelling to places on their 'no donation' list and now pregnant it's probably been 2 years since I last went.

A- for me O- for hubby. I joke that he's my private blood bank. He doesn't think I'm funny.

DH, LO and I have A+ blood.
@MamaMoose: i think there is a possibility that your baby could be type O+. O is recessive, but if you and DH have Ao blood, there is a 1 in 4 chance LO could be O.

@.twist.: Your dr hasn't tested you? They'll need to know if there is an rH incompatibility before the baby is born.

O+. Don't know what LO is. DH doesn't know his blood type either. I only found out when I was testing to be a kidney donor.
