DS pretty much lives in his Nikes or Natives year round (with supplemental shoes like rain boots/snow boots).
I'll probably buy a pair or two of SKR smallers for DS2 this summer (he'll be 1).

Nikes and Converse for DD1. Those are definitely also her favorites.
DD2 Livie and Luca are the only ones she will keep on.

Saltwater sandals for the summer, and I personally loved her Sauconys (Velcro) but she prefers the Adidas that my sister got her that have laces. Also like Keens for the summer.

I will only buy her SKR sneakers. They are so cute, fit her great, and last the whole time she is in that size.

He has lots of Gap shoes and boots, mainly because I've found great deals on them. But they're very cute too. Their kids duck boots are so good for snow.

DD - nikes, new balance, uggs, Sam Edelman, saltwater, natives, croc rain boots
DS - nikes, emu Australia, natives, croc rain boots

DD is only 15 mo so we haven't worn shoes for a very long time haha, but I love her New Balance sneakers over her Stride Rite boots!
I got her a pair of Natives for the summer and I'm so excited!

Stride Rite. Their wide sizes seem to fit him really well and we've found all of his shoes second hand with plenty of life still in them

See Kai Run are my very favorites but they are so expensive. I usually try to get them on sale.

Stride Rites. He has wide hobbit feet and he's a super tall skinny kid, so I like the stability they give him. I stock up in the next few sizes whenever they run a BOGO sale.

@avivoca: I don't think they are expensive at all. I shop the sales only and then they are cheaper then Target.

@Smurfette: I'm not really in the habit of buying $40-$50 shoes for my daughter when I know she is going to outgrow them quickly.

@avivoca: I always get them under $20 on their site during sales. You just have to watch it.

Mini Melissa for DD and New Balances for DS-he has wide feet and they fit him the best!

Whatever she will wear....MY personal faves are Livie and Luca, though.

SKR - I stock up a few sizes when they are on sale. I will have to buy closed-toe summer sandals full price though...either SKR or Stride Rite.

We've had good success with Tsukihoshi sneakers for LO and love that they're machine washable. We also love Keen sandals in the summer.

Stride Rite. Exactly the same situation as @Gingerbebe:, on every count!

Summer: Saltwaters and Crocs
Everything else: Hunter and Stride Rite

My kids love their Natives in summer and Bogs boots for this time of year. I love Livie & Luca for DD and Converse for DS.

Another Livie & Luca fan here! They're a splurge, but they're so nice and we have two boys born in the fall, so we can use them twice! For tennis shoes, I like Saucony.

Nike and Hunters for the winter, Salts for the summer and I'd love to find good quality boots for the fall but I've only bought them from Gap.

I have a handful of brands that I like, and I'm happy with any of those shoes when I get a good sale (like Black Friday or Memorial day---hast the be 30% or more to be worth my time). SKR, Pedipeds, Bobux, Livie and Luca, StrideRite, sometimes Target depending on quality. Robeez. I feel like there are a couple more I'm forgetting.

The shoes I like the best style wise are classic, like Jacadi but man they are pricey. Even on sale, they are pricey, so I've only bought one pair that were 70% off.

Umi and Pediped for comfort
Converse and Toms are their go to
And if they get to choose it's princess light up shoes
nectarine / 2636 posts
SKR seem to be the only brand that reliably fit her wide, thick feet. Just wish they weren't so expensive!
But we also had luck with targets stride rite brand for play shoes.
Eta: I got a pair of used Toms that she's obsessed with. Must be because they're broken in! I'll definitely get another pair for her for fall when there's a sale.
cantaloupe / 6885 posts
Nike sneakers, crocs, Old Navy MJ native knock offs, Toms, and LL Bean for winter boots
pomelo / 5866 posts
Stride rite and Pedipeds were my go-this but I'm loving the quality and fit of Naturinos.
