So I like my Boba wrap (from 2015) but it hangs down so much and the knot is uncomfortable. I have an Ergo I like too. What besides an Ergo and Boba should I consider? I'm average height and trim. I have a toddler and the most important consideration is EASE of use and comfort. Somethung wuick and not bulky. Thanks!

@pachamama: I guess you mean the Boba Wrap? I used a Boba 3g with DD and use a 4g with DS. I love the removable hood, pockets, foot straps for toddlers, and the little straps to hold your purse on your shoulders. Also really comfy. I could carry a 28lb toddler for hours (on my back, front carry was uncomfortable at about 22lbs).

I love kinderpack. I think it totally is a preference thing though. Most people love different stuff.
I also adore woven wraps for big kids and newbies. Ring sling hands down for the squish stage

For newborn/early days with my second, I loved the sollybaby! We also loved the beco Gemini for a more structured carrier.

For really young babies, I really loved my BabyHawk. Once they got bigger I had a travel Ergo that I loved - I found it much less bulky than an Ergo and it was so great for traveling because it folded up so tiny.

So I’ve had the beco Gemini, original ergo, solly wrap, Tula wrap conversion (not the free to grow) and the k’tan
For facing inwards with smaller infant babies I love the beco and the k’tan. I didn’t have the Tula yet. For heavier babies, 6+ months facing in or out, I like the beco but facing out over 9 months just becomes uncomfortable for me, no matter the carrier. I think Tula makes a facing out carrier now, but at a certain point with older babies, it just isn’t ergonomically advantageous for anyone (and I say that as a physical therapist) I love the Tula over all though. I’d probably get the free to grow so I could use it from birth. The Tula is just so darn comfortable facing inwards. I’m still wearing my babe at 13 months since I have an active 3.5 year old and walk everywhere.
But it’s a close tie with the beco. The X back straps are really supportive also. So try them both if you haven’t!! -
I loved the k'tan for the really snuggly little baby stage and still use it at 14 months if I don't need a lot of support and just want her contained on me for a bit. I use my lilliebaby all the time and have since E was 7 weeks old. The lumbar support is awesome and I loved not having to fiddle with an insert when she was tiny.

The free to grow Tula is great. I love the Tula for up until they’re 13 ish months and then back carry with it and it feels life changing. Once they hit a certain weight it hurts my back to front carry.

I absolutely love my free to grow mesh Tula. It's the only one I use. With J I liked the ktan. I tried to like the Solly wrap, but it was too hard. (If you want to borrow either of those, I'd be happy to send them to you.).

lillebaby - b/c DS was happy in it. For whatever reason, he hated the k'tan and I don't think I've used it since he was itty bitty.
lillebaby front carry started killing my back when he hit around 22 lbs. But that may have been the case with any carrier...

I know it’s not as cool but I really liked my bjorn carrier for when they are smaller babies (1 year and under). Especially for facing in.
I also have the lilebaby and I like it enough. But it’s bulky and it’s harder to wear under a coat or cardigan (which you often have to do). But it’s much better for bigger babies and toddlers, obviously. I like it for outward facing but didn’t care too much for it when they were smaller. It just seemed like too much carrier for a little baby.I never got into wraps so if that’s mostly what you’re looking for, ignore me. Tried the ktan and I could never get a good fit. I’m very thin but huge boobs and I had a lot of trouble with it.

I love my beco Gemini. I’m short and when I tried the ergo and lillebaby they felt way too big. LO has been comfy in it since 7 weeks old and still loves it both out and in at 11 months. She is small though-like 18 lbs. DH likes it too. We had a boba wrap when LO was tiny but I couldn’t really get comfortable in it.

I have a Lenny Lamb conversion buckle carrier that I loooove. But def a ring sling when they are still newborns!

I love my beco Gemini also, as does my husband. It can be used without an infant insert almost from birth (7 or 8lbs I think), is easy to put on and is fool proof in terms of getting baby in a safe, secure position. I struggle to wear kiddos much past 15 lbs, but my husband still loved wearing our son until 20lbs+! I’ve used a ring sling for my new LO but it’s trickier even for me to get right and my husband straight up botched it the one time he tried (like, unsafe, awful, scared the crap out of me when I saw it).

Beco Gemini is awesome. Can use right from newborn up to toddler. I’ve got a lot of use out of mine.

I liked different ones for different stages. Solly was best when lo was tiny, Wildbird sling when she was a little older but still under 6 months, then Tula when older. I have a toddler sized Tula tat I've been using now that she's almost 2
