My grandma makes the best pie crust. And it's soooo easy!
2 cups flour, 1/2 cup oil, 1/4 cup milk. This makes the bottom and top crust, so you half it if you only want the bottom. Mix it together until it's just mixed, you don't want to over work it. It's easiest if you just use your hands to mix. And of course you just roll it out and put it in the pie plate. It's very flaky and very scamp. And so yummy!

I also love my mom's chicken soup. But we kind of cheat by using a boxed matzo ball mix. It's hard to make matzo balls without them being as hard as a rock without using the mix.

Fill a huge pot 3/4 of the way with water and boil. Put the chicken (one full cut up chicken on the bone and then some more of whatever you like best, my mom puts in breasts but I like dark meat so I add more of that) in, lower heat, and cook for an hour. Take chicken out and let cool. Take chicken off the bone and put back in pot.

Add veggies- Baby carrots, cut up celery, and cut up onions.

Make matzo ball mix (found in the ethnic section of the grocery store, get the kind that has soup and matzo balls). Follow directions on the box.

Let soup simmer for a long time, I try to let it sit all day, at least 4-5 hours. It's also best if you leave it in the fridge over night, so it's great when you want to make something ahead of time.

I like to dip challah in it, and you can also add egg noodles. So yum!
