We went to an Italian festival today and wow, did they have some yummy food! Hubby got meatballs, I had chicken parm sandwich and tiramisu gelato. Yum! I don't know if I can pick a favorite from Italian foods though, they're all so yummy!

ooh, yummy! My favorite is Chicken Marsala. I'm not big into red sauce. I also love caprese salad-- I make a mean one, and it's the only way I will personally eat fresh tomatoes!

Italian food is my face definitely can't pick one thing that I like best! Love all different types of pasta, seafood dishes, anything involving fresh mozzarella... Cannily is my favorite dessert though.

I love italian food. I could live off of spaghetti bolognese. Pretty much if there's pasta in it, I'll eat it.

Spaghetti is the one food I could eat every meal for the rest of my life, but I am pretty picky when it comes to Italian food.
If my mom cooks it, chances are it is good, if it comes from a cheapie restaurant I'll pass. If Mario Batali or Lydia Bastianich is cooking I'll devour it.

I’m not picky about Italian food, as long as its good. I like all the rustic, simple preparations that focus on flavor. I love pasta dishes where the pasta is good on its own, has texture and doesn’t need a ton of sauce. Bolognese, pesto, Arabbiata sauces – love them all. I also like a good ravioli or lasagna, and one of my favorite dishes at our local Italian place is “macheroni paesani” – which is a taleggio cheese sauce with taggiasche olives. Also LOVE gnocchi, carpaccio, different salamis and olives.
For dessert I love panna cotta, tiramisu, gelato and some limoncello (if they are not too sweet).
The only Italian I don’t care for is the faux Americanized stuff where pasta has no flavor or real texture and is just covered in large amounts of heavy sauces and cheese (like Olive Garden type food).

I love caprese salads and chicken parm. I also love angel hair pasta with shrimp. I'd love to go to Italy and have true Italian food.
