I'd like to make a pie for Thanksgiving (MIL is doing pumpkin), but can't decide what kind!
I'm leaning towards the Dutch Pumpkin Apple (and maybe a regular apple as well), but I also have a recipe for a Caramel-Pecan Cheesecake that sounds divine...
I guess I could make 3 pies??

I'm a sucker for chocolate so that got my vote... but only because the caramel pecan cheesecake you mentioned didn't make the list!
I wouldn't double up on pumpkin though, I love variety in my holiday desserts

Pecan rum pie or sweet potato pie is good! I'm a fan of butterchess pie too! Mmmm.

Out of all of those I'd pick cherry first, then apple. I do love me some chocolate, but not necessarily in pie form.

Anything without fruit. Chocolate, pumpkin, peanut butter, pecan... all fair game. Yum.

Usually I go for pumpkin or apple but this year berries are sounding kind of delicious. I'm thinking of making a raspberry/blackberry pie with crumb topping

I think apple or berry would be lovely. Personally, I like turnover cakes! Caramel apple, or spiced orange almond are both excellent.

Berry pie! Blackberry or raspberry, for sure.
(My friend recently got married and had a vote-for-your-favorite-pie as part of the RSVP, and blackberry came in first, with apple second, then pumpkin, cherry and chocolate!)

Commenting again to suggest an apple-blackberry pie. I made one years ago at Thanksgiving and it was a hit! I can't believe I forgot about it until now...
