We're going to a production of Sound of music tomorrow night, and I'm uber excited because it's one of my very favorites! Other favorites are Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked.

Wicked! I live in the Bay Area and my SIL said it's coming back to SF! I am so excited and already trying to figure out who can babysit since LO will be here by then.

Wicked is awesome. I also loved The Producers with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick.

i'm in the minority but i didn't love wicked. it was good but not nearly as good as i was expecting it to be.
musicals i've loved include phantom, les miz, avenue q, jersey boys, book of mormon, producers, lion king.....

Love anything Rodgers and Hammerstein. Also love me some Stephen Schwartz. I could never choose just one favorite musical.

Oh, such a hard choice! Rent is an old favorite - one of the first I memorized. Mystery of Edwin Drood is such a fun show to see live. Violet also has an amazing book.

Wicked is by far my favorite & I've seen it 3 times! Also loved Phantom, Rent, Avenue Q, & Spring Awakening (with Lea Michele).

Wicked and The Lion King

Fiddler, Les Mis, and Cinderella are old favorites. Among recent musicals I am completely obsessed with The Last Five Years. For movie musicals I'll always love Singin' in the Rain, which is my favorite movie in general!

Chicago and A Chorus Line- both are fun movies too but the shows are of course better!

Les Mis, hands down. I've been obsessed with it for 22 years (since I was 10!). Phantom is a close 2nd.

My absolute favorite is RENT. I also like Wicked a lot, but I enjoy seeing pretty much any musical! If only they didn't break the bank so much...
