My dad used to joke that he only likes two types of pie: hot and cold. My favorite tends to be chocolate cream or dutch apple. Hubs is in the same camp as my dad, he'll eat anything.

i don't like pie, but i'll eat pecan. and banana cream sounds yummy, but never had!

@jbhops: what in the world is sawdust pie? i hope it's not made of sawdust! haha.

Coconut cream is my absolute favorite, followed very closely by Key Lime pie, and then chocolate cream and all only with a graham cracker crust, not pastry. Ooooh, but Boston cream pie is good too... though I guess that's really more of a cake. I take desserts VERY seriously!

Chocolate silk or pumpkin!

I was too busy to bake this year, but last year I made my families three favourite pies: Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie and Butterscotch Pie.

The Butterscotch pie is an old family favourite passed down to me by my grandmother, and she got it from her mother.

Pecan, and blueberry. And since I lived in FL for many years, we often throw in a key lime pie as well.

Mmmm.. pie.... For the holidays I love my mom's fudge pecan pie and pumpkin pie. The rest of the year- chocolate meringue, lemon meringue... ok. Now I'm hungry.

Coconut cream, definitely. Then pumpkin, then banana, then chocolate. Hubby's are lemon meringue and apple, though a really good apple will trump a lemon meringue. Also likes berry/cherry, pecan, key lime, cheesecake (which by my standards is pie), and pot pies. Pie is my husband's favorite food, but he's not a fan of pumpkin pie. A revolutionary-era beef pie is one of my favorite meals, but it's a pain to make...

Current favourite (other than cherry and lemon meringue, which are always favourites) is chocolate chip cookie pie. Basically, its everything that goes into a chocolate chip cookie, pressed into a pie shell and baked until its gooey and delicious. Especially with icecream.

Pumpkin and cherry pies! But when I'm lazy, I'll do a brie bake with raspberry preserves. Yummo.

There's this family-owned pie change that makes the best pies!! Although I'm all for homemade pies, this store has a "Banana Split" pie, with custard, fresh banana slices, whipped cream, hot chocolate and cherries drizzled on top. DELICIOUS!

Rhubarb pie served with hot custard... I had this in England and loved it!!!

I love blueberry pie. But any pie will do. I love sweets... especially home baked ones!
