I'm excited about our upcoming trip to the Canaries and up late torturing myself with pictures of tapas. I'm especially looking forward to trying these little baby squids.

Also gambas al ajillo (mainly for dipping bread in the broth) or bacon wrapped dates w/ red pepper butter. Yum!

This thread is making me hungry! I lived in Spain in college. I loved tortilla española, anything with chorizo, croquetas de pollo, and more that I'm sure I'm forgetting!

Love it all. Going to drag my husband to our tapas joint in town tonight! I love bacon wrapped dates, tortilla espanola, empanadas, very thinly sliced aged jamon, manchego cheese and membrillo, marcona almonds, big briny olives, aioli for all my potatoe, croquetas! Oh my gosh, how can I be so hungry already?
