I'm basking in the cold weather and the holiday spirit. I love that I get to see my sisters and I get to buy really special gifts for family and friends. I mostly love that everyone I am around seems happy and excited and in the spirit of the time.

I love buying gifts for family; I love getting to see extended family members and close friends; I love the excitement in my kids' eyes at seeing Santa or Christmas lights, or presents under the tree. So fun! Also love playing Christmas music every night and watching Christmas movies with the kids.
I'm also super looking forward to my PTO between Christmas and New Years every year!

So many things! I absolutely love weekends like we just had: Christmas parade on Friday, cut down our own Christmas tree on Saturday, and yesterday we got hot chocolate and drove around to look at Christmas lights.

I love slowing down for a bit. All year we run run run.... rush to get ready, rush to work, rush through work, rush home, rush through to bedtime... the holidays allow us to slow down!!!! Finally! I love it sooo much.
I wish we could do it more often. Other countries are not so busy rushed like we are abs sometimes I think I’d like to try it!!

I love the traditions. We chose three events outside of the home to do (other than tree cutting) that my husband and I look forward to as much as our children. We also do a number of Christmas activities at home that DD1 is old enough to anticipate and look forward to.
I LOVE Christmas lights! I love seeing all the houses decorated. We live right by the Fisher Price campus/factory and they deck it out every year. I go out of my way to drive by it, and run by it almost every morning. We take our girls there once per season to walk around and gaze at all the lights.
On Christmas Eve everyone in my husband’s family goes to his Grandma’s house for an appetizer dinner and the annual “Christmas show.” He has some really musically inclined family members that perform, and others that make up hilarious skits. My girls both pick random costumes from the costume room and sing a song that they choose and practice on their own ahead of time.
I also love Christmas Day. We open presents with our girls, go to church, and then go to my parents for the rest of the day which we have been doing since my husband and I started dating. My husband and I also go on a run together every year on Christmas, no matter if it is a blizzard outside.

I love the family time with extended family. My favorite tradition is that I organize a gift drive for 20 local kids, and my kids are SO excited about helping with it every year. I love that giving back to others has already become one of their favorite things too.

I love the lights, I love the family drive up to my parents’ house, I love thinking about how much the boys are going to love the presents I’ve chosen for them, and I love curling up in the front room looking at our Christmas tree - I think it’s so beautiful and it makes me so happy. And my Christmas tradition food - I always make shortbread, Chex mix, and candied pecans.

I love having time off to spend with my family over the holidays, the decorations and how festive everything is, listening to the Charlie Brown Christmas album on repeat, and seeing how into the holidays my kids are. Edited to add that I also love holiday baking!

Advent, anticipating Jesus' birth & teaching my kids about it! But all the other things are fun too! Love all our "traditions" that we add to every year as our family grows!

Starbucks red cups! I get legitimately sad when they’re gone abruptly again in January every year!

@wrkbrk: ah, I love this answer! It’s true, when I see the new red cups I get a little giddy inside.
