Depends on my mood.

If I'm in a bad mood or stressed about something then bread, particularly a bread that requires a long knead. I don't have a stand mixer with a dough hook or anything, so I have to do it by hand. Kneading dough when I'm tense about something is a huge stress-reliever!

If I just feel like baking cupcakes are my favorite.

Do I have to pick just one?! It totally depends on my mood...right now I have bread rising in the kitchen. But I've been wanting to make a birthday-like cake for the past few days for no particular reason. And cinnamon rolls. And I really love baking sweet breads like banana bread or pumpkin bread...and the list goes on!

fancy desserts. if i'm going to bake, i like things to have a wow factor and to be fun!

Depends... Sometimes I like to make something simpler like banana bread (which doesn't require icing or anything) and sometimes I like to make tons of cookies in all different shapes with elaborate icing.

My husband is the baker in our house. I cook, he bakes. His chocolate chip cookies are to die for! I make a great pizza dough though.

Anything easy!! Cookies, cakes, brownies - nothing extravagant here!!

Cookies! I loooove baking cookies! I'm going to brag for a minute, but I seriously think I make the best cookies ever!! They are chocolate cookies, with a Rolo in the middle, dipped in sugar to make them glisten with white chocolate drizzled over the top!!!
