My favourite thing is being able to ask real women, real moms, about their experiences and receiving good insight.

I totally agree with you. And I don't have any friends who have babies or are pregnant or even thinking of them! So it's nice to feel like I have some friends here.
And..the most obvious, the main outlet for my questions! Few people know we're pregnant, so it's nice to be able to come here!

Completely agree It's the most current, real life advice and answers I can find out there Plus the sense of our small community! The support cannot be matched anywhere.

Heck yeah I agree! I love all the insight, info and wonderful people on here. I learn something new everyday. I love that its real people and real moms/dads who share their stories and experiences that help bring other ideas and tips to the "table"

I love the support and being able to ask questions without feeling judged. A few of my "real life" friends have already flat out told me NOT to have kids, so its nice to be in a supportive environment

@mrsjyw: I think the sense of community is a HUGE factor. I feel like I know all you ladies!

@lilteacherbee: Friends have told you NOT to have kids?! WHAT?

definitely the sense of community the others that I visited when I was pregnant just seemed too big...and a bit (well a lot) snarky.

@Rubies: Yep, DH and I are pretty young (22/23), so I've had a few close friends tell me not to have kids anytime soon. This is usually unsolicited advice and it really gets annoying. One particular friend is so excited for another high school classmate to have her baby, but still says that DH and I aren't ready because "its a different situation." I mean what the heck?! Its no one's business when we have kids and if I want your opinion, I'll ask.
We had a huge argument on new years eve and needless to say we haven't spoken since. Except today when I ran into her at lunch...awkward. And this girl has been a friend since 6th grade/college roommate/bridesmaid!

I like the community and all of the topics of conversation! I also really like how honest and non-sugar coated the blog posts are. I feel like most people tend to only show you the positives of having kids and this blog is totally real.

I like what Artbee said, no one judges you. I didn't particularly like Weddingbee's mom board for that reason...and nonemoms/never given birth always chiming in when they think they know, but don't. LOL

I love the forums, I just don't understand how you ladies can be so active on the site! I find only a few minutes each day to post!
