Here is a blog post about biting on HelloBee

I thought there was another one... Where they mentioned that they use to bite their kids and so their kids learned to bite them. Because they didn't know the difference between a "play" bite and a real bite.
I totally nibble on LO when he was little... his cute little thighs were just sooo nibbly but when I read that... I stopped cold turkey way before he could start biting us and we have no bitting issues.
I really liked "The happiest toddler on the block" It's made by the same people that do "The happiest baby on the block". The basic principle is to treat kids like cave men. Aka talk to them like they are cave men.
One thing that was cute that I learned was to give one or two check marks on their hand a day... and when you give them a bath at night you can revisit why they got the check marks and they go to bed on a happy note.
We read and watched this when LO was a baby... this is great... reminded me to re-watch/read this now that LO is a toddler.

@Raindrop: Thank you I read that post when it was written, I don't think that's the case here, it seems to be a mixture of teething and amusement, she bites me when she gets giddy at bedtime but she finds it so funny and just laughs at me when I tell her off. I"ll check out that book, thank you!
