I bought Aden+Anias blankets off of baby steals a few weeks ago, but I'm really trying to resist shopping otherwise, at least until after our shower! My mom brought me a huge bag of baby clothes she had purchased already, so I have a feeling baby girl is going to be well dressed.

i finally bought the crib, 2nd car seat, and a stroller! i feel halfway ready! woo hoo! but hated spending so much moola lol.

Shopping for baby was so much fun! Everyone called me crazy for buying toys and baby gear while I was still pregnant, but I'm so glad I did. We are spending all our extra cash these days on diapers and leftover hospital bills. It was nice to buy the gear when I was pregnant and still had some extra cash.

Most recent thing we bought was a stack of books for baby. I think we got about 14 of them actually...a few were Brown Bear, Little Critter books, Goodnight Moon, Guess how much I love you...I want our LO to have lots of books...but that's pretty much all we got so far...

I haven't bought anything for our 2nd baby because we're still waiting to find out if it's a boy or a girl! We have so many boy things from my LO that we will definitely be repurposing. But if it's a girl, I might go be a little crazy with the shopping. My first purchase will be new Aden blankets for either boy or girl. You can never have enough of those.

@mrsbells: The nosefrida is probably one of the best purchases I made for my LO! We use it all the time. I think you'll love it.

I bought a huge bag of clothes off of Craigslist.

I just bought a swaddler blanket... My baby won't sleep unless tightly swaddled, and he is now strong enough that he always manages to get out of the blanket no matter how tight it is... the swaddler works wonders, we love it!
