DS is 4 months and until a few weeks ago, I didn't really need a nap routine (or, at least I didn't think I did). I would just swaddle him and put him in the swing or R&P with a pacifier or would give him a little more milk and he would sleep. Now, not so much.

The morning nap is still easy (b/c he's more tired?) and he sleeps in his swing (and usually naps long). For the afternoon naps, I've tried a few things (bringing him into nursery with lights off, rocking him, shhing him, swaddling, not swaddling, white noise. He wakes 15 mins after I set him in the crib, wide awake and it's beyond difficult to get him back to sleep. I've tried napping him in the swing, too, in the afternoon, but I think there's too much stimulation.

What's your nap routine and how long did it take to stick? Do I just need to really work to get him back to sleep after 15 mins to encourage crib napping?
