I met my husband fairly young, so it was all before him, when I was a totally clueless teenager. I wouldn't rather have met him later, but I do wish that I had matured into the really whole person I am now before I'd had so many different partners. That'll be what I tell my daughter - wait to do it until you feel really confidant about who you are and what you want. If you have any doubt - wait. It's so much better when you know who and what you want.

13...married once before so after that split I went a little 'crazy' and then was in a serious relationship and after that ended had a couple more fun times and then met my DH. I do wish the number was lower but you can't go back.

2. My high school boyfriend and then my husband. Hubs and I started dating when we were 19 so there wasn't a whole lot of time. He had one before me too. I'm OK that we aren't each others only one. I figure, you don't know how great it is unless you have something to compare it to : )

@Smurfette: I have the same problem. I want to say that my number is something like 5 or 6. I had a slutty period during my senior year of college. At that time, everyone was working on their Mrs. degree. I had no interest. Instead, I had fun with my best friend going to clubs, etc. After that, I went to graduate school and no interest in dating. I met DH right as I was finishing graduate school.

@Mummystar: lol. I started late at 18 and racked up 5 in 4 years... lol. If I hadn't met DH I'm scared what my number would be now! Also, for 2 of those years I was in a monogamous relationship so... 4 in 2 years... wow.
