I saw all of the best picture nominations this year, except for Philomena.
My favorite was Her! I think Juaquin Phoenix was excellent, the vintage look was beautiful, and it was such an interesting premise.
12 Years a Slave was great too, and then Nebraska (which I am surprised I really liked).
I'm not a Sandra Bullock fan so Gravity wasn't a favorite.

I've only seen half of them. I loved American Hustle. I really want to watch 12 Years a Slave.

I've only seen Wolf of Wall Street, Gravity, and Dallas Buyers Club. Out of those, I liked Wolf of Wall Street the best.

I really didn't like Her. I thought they could have made it a lot better / had the viewer fall in love with their relationship more. I found myself throughout the movie thinking it was bizarre and moved far too quickly for me really to get "attached". My vote would be for anything else

I only saw Captain Phillips, and it was amazing!
DH and I are planning to rent one nominated movie a week until we've seen them all.

Captain Phillips was sooo good - that has my vote! I also saw American Hustle (not quite as good as I hoped it would be), Dallas Buyers Club (really liked it as well), and Wolf of Wall Street (not a huge fan).

I haven't seen any of them. DH saw gravity and said it was good. I refused to go. Space isolation is a true nightmare of mine. I was convinced the anxiety would send me into early labor. lol
