I don't even want to go through the whole list, too overwhelming! We have some contractors over right now discussing stuff with DH.

I guess the big things are painting. We need to paint the nursery, the dining room, the family room wall, our bedroom and perhaps the loft. We also need to work on the backyard...it's awful.

Do we really want me to list??? We closed on our house shortly after we found out we were pregnant. We bought a fixer upper that had the guts of what we liked allowing $$$ for these renovations.

The things we have done so far:
Gut the kitchen (seriously, there's no kitchen, no walls to kitchen)
remove carpet through WHOLE house
paint all bedrooms, upstairs bathroom (walls & ceilings)
We fixed the main bath so it's usable now. remove old caulk. recaulk, paint the walls, paint the god awful vanity,
Install new laminate
remove all doors (built in cabinetry & closet included) and clean and put in new hardware

Things we still have to do:
purchase and install new cabinets
order and install new appliances
build new wall for breakfast bar and fridge recess
pick, purchase, install countertops and backsplash
install new laminate on first floor
install carpet at family room and hallway to bedrooms
buy new exterior front and rear door
reface fireplace and hearth
paint all of first floor
new dry wall ceiling at family room
finish cleaning den that will be future laundry room
new fence and patio
remove two pine trees from front yard
remove ALL shrub from east side of house
landscape
unhinge, clean and put new hardware for all first floor doors

Things to do in next 1-3 years
garden/landscape
paint siding (our house is half brick half wood siding)
gut and redo main bath
gut and redo 1/2 bath on first floor to a full bath
change "den" to a laundry/mud room

And that's just "Renovation" stuff!

We've been in our house since August and we need to:
Replace the furnace (1965 original!)
Install overhead lighting (why are there houses without this?!)
Install a garbage disposal
Figure out what we're doing with the back yard
Buy patio furniture

Our wish list includes:
Finish the basement
Build a front porch
Restain & seal the deck
Replace the siding
Re-do master bathroom

We have plenty since we bought an older home, but are making baby step progress.

- Remodel the master bath
- Remodel the kitchen
- Set new tiles (or maybe do wooden floors)
- Remove wood panelings in the living room
- Smooth out the ugly textures on our walls

Here's a list of things we did do since we bought the house almost 5(!) years ago:
- New masonite on the exterior of the house
- Replastered, re-coped, and re-tiled the pool
- Removed popcorn ceiling
- Added new textured ceiling
- Remodeled the guest bathroom
- Installed new carpet

We need to baby proof our patio, I'd love to redo our master bathroom! We need to add a bathroom to our first floor too.

We don't need to fix up anything, but I want to:

-get rid of the carpet in the living room
-paint the dining room
-get some type of shade for the backyard!
-install a garage organization thing
