Any bees planning on moving soon?
We're looking for a new apartment and I am dreading the entire process. At least we are trying to downsize a lot of our stuff first.

Our current lease is up at the end of August, but I'm hopeful we can renew for another year before moving again. I'd like to move at the end of August 2015 because we've had a new LO, but if that doesn't happen, I'm in no rush.

when we buy a home. i refuse to move before that, i HATE moving. we've been looking off and on for over a year, but we have a very tight budget and i don't want to settle for something we'll have to move out of in just a few years, so finding something we can afford, in the right areas, that we won't outgrow quickly and that we like has been a challenge.

We just moved into our "forever" home 10 months ago so I really hope that we won't be moving again for a long long time!

We just sold our co-op and the closing should be happening within the next two months.

@sslm: exciting!
We just finished moving last week, so I'm hopeful that we won't move again for a long, long time! Even when you move within the same city, it is EXPENSIVE!

Our last move was last May when I was 36 weeks pregnant. I'm not looking to repeat that any time soon! We bought this home and it's gone up in value quite a bit. We're realizing it's not our forever home so hoping to sell it in a few years if the house is still worth what it is now. So in a couple of years we'll likely be looking at another move.

We're in the process of looking. Ideally, we'd move before #2 is born (not pregnant yet), but we want our next house to be our forever home, so I am okay looking for a while if it takes that long to find something perfect.

I wish I could say soon, but realistically about 8-10 years. We want to buy our forever home but need to save 20% and in our area that's going to be $100-120k. We don't want to sell our current home because it's an up-down duplex and in prime rental area so we plan on using it for part of our retirement income.

Hopefully in a couple years when DH passes the current things he is doing at work. We will build our dream house then. Can't wait! Might buy the lot sooner if something comes up that is a good deal though.

I am right now! Moving is so insane but our new place is so much better. 1100 sf makes 750 sf feel like a closet moving makes me want to throw everything out though but dh is a hoarder
I plan to be here for 5-10 years before our next adventure. I chose location where I could walk baby to best elementary. For now I am happy here forever.

We will likely move to a new rental in about 2.5 years and buy or build (leaning towards build) in 3.5 years.
A little closer every day....

APRIL 4TH!!! We bought 2 weeks ago and had an offer accepted on our current place this week, so if all goes well and they close on time, we're moving in 4 weeks. EEEK!

The contractor should finish up work on our house early next week, and we'll take a little time to paint. Should be moving the weekend of the 21st, so just over 2 weeks!

@Greentea: It's total craziness, especially on short notice, which is what I think we both had. But isn't that the best feeling, moving into a place that you love?! So glad for you-and glad that the pup is with you!
@JoJoGirl: @Torchwood: yay, good luck!

This summer! I want to plan so bad, but there are a bunch of uncertainties right now that means I can't. Things will get crazy here in the next few months.

We are currently looking for our forever home. We own a home, but it was just intended to be a starter house. Now, with LO #2 on the way, we need much more space!

We gotta be out of our current home next Friday (NEXT FRIDAY!!! OHMYGAHHHH!!!!), move in with friends for hopefully no more than 2 weeks to close on our new home then move into our new home. I absolutely hate that we're moving twice. ugh!! I didn't think our current home would sell so quickly so I didn't have another house lined up just yet! It sold in less than 24 hours!

Next month! DH is handing in his notice at work today and we officially start our move to the UK next month! We should be in a rental by June with the plan to have purchased and moved into our new home by Christmas.
Let the good times roll.....moving internationally is crazy complicated but so exciting
