I am hoping to ask for $ for Christmas to go towards M's 1 year photo shoot. But ideally I would love to have a photoshoot a year! But don't know how financially feasible it would be.

We have family pro pics from when DD 1 was around 18 months and again when I was pregnant with DD 2. Then DD 2's newborn shoot.

Our last family pro pics were taken last Dec. My hubby was in a suit, I in a nice dress and the girls in their holiday dresses. They were 3.5 yo and 6 months at the time.

DD had solo pro pics this summer when she turned 1. Oh we also had pro pics at her party, if that counts.

Our next shoot is probably next spring. I want some by the beach at sunset. The girls will be 5 yo and almost 2 yo at the time.

I guess we have pro pics done at least once a year.

We did family pictures when TG was 8 months, then a big extended family photoshoot including a couple family photos when she was 1.5, then newborn photos with WB, then another big family photoshoot (other side of the family) with a couple family photos this spring and in a couple weeks we are getting photos done with my parents and brother's little family. So many photos!

I really hope they have time to get a nice set of photos done for us, because the last three times we've done photos I've felt so rushed getting a nice family picture in...and as a result TG has been miserable looking in most of them.

Just want I want blown up on my wall....

In general, I'd like to do photos once a year.

We just had ours done in July. My daughter wasn't quite standing up on her own at the time and I kind of wish I just waited a couple more months to do it now. But we would love to do it once a year as well. Like you said, just so we can have some full family photos.

We did a newborn shoot with LO. When I was pregnant, I was interested in doing a "baby plan" (multiple shoots @ a discount) with a photographer but I couldn't find one that was affordable enough so I'm thinking of taking LO to JC Penney or Sears to do a 3 month and 9 month shoot. Then we'll go with another pro to do a 1 yr shoot! I'm hoping we can do a shoot every year... if not, then JC Penney's it is.

We did our first family shoot when DS was one. I kind of regret not doing maternity/newborn photos, because now I feel like we can't do them with the rest of our kids. We also had some taken at 18 months and 2 years. Then we took a long break from pro photos and we just had some taken last week with DD being 3 months and DS 3.5 years old.

We did a maternity shoot and actually have 3 scheduled newborn shoots. My dad is a professional photographer, so he will be taking birth photos and doing a newborn shoot. We are also getting the hospital photos because it's our first, and we're planning only, child, and we don't want to miss out on those photos too. A local photographer I've done work with on other stuff specializes in newborns (which my dad does not), so we're doing a shoot with her as well. I imagine we'll do quarterly shoots after that with my dad. We'll also do holiday photos, especially this year since all of my family in California, including my grandma, are joining us for Thanksgiving to meet our baby girl for the first time.
