Ha I swear people ask this as soon as you even get pregnant with the first.

ETA: We are going to start trying either July or August. EEk.

I'm currently pregnant with my fourth, this is the last! We have accomplished our family plan hahahaha

No one ever asked us! But we kind of let it known that we feel old and we weren't going to wait too long for #2--I'm pregnant now with her.

I've had a few people ask right now while I'm pregnant if we're going to have more after this, and I just tell everyone I'm 98% sure we are two and through.

Just had our second and we are DONE!

My kiddos are 2 and 9 months and i have baby fever! But realistically right now bc i my baby is still young and.bpth kids deserves attention thst i couldn't give them if pregnant right now. Plus im breastfeeding and dpnt to jeopardize my supply. (We had.weight struggles up until recently ) so probably not fpr another 6 months at least

Before getting pregnant, I always wanted two, DH one. Then, pregnancy was horrible, induced due to pre-eclampsia, and I told DH, family, my midwives, and anyone who would listen that I was one and done!!! I was still in the hospital bed with the nurses and midwives joking they would see me in 2 years! We were being discharged and DH agreed with the nurses DD needs a baby brother in 2-3 years. I thought they were all crazy! Now, at a week old, I'm like, "yeah, she does need a sibling." Im very close to my brother, and would hope for that with my own kids. So, maybe 2-3 years. I definitely want t wait the recommeded 18 months recovery time from pregnancy.

@petunia354: That's exactly what I told him! Shelve it until she's 2! I think a 3ish year gap would be perfect for us too. Good luck ttc!

The plan is to TTC in about 3mo (LO #1 is almost 11mo), but we are basically NTNP, and I'd be thrilled anytime!

We're going to start either this month or next! I have an appointment to back to the RE next week.

DD is almost four months. We don't have a set time to actively TTC, but we are NTNP now. It would be great to get pregnant in October (I'd be eligible for FMLA and STD), but we will see when I get my period back and how long I BF for. I would like to BF for 9-12 months, but once I get my period back I will feel pressure to TTC because I have severe endometriosis, and the longer I go without being pregnant, the harder it will be to get pregnant.

Took us about 8 mo for LO including a miscarriage but we're going to wait until LO is 18 mo to try again due to the compelling data on pregnancy spacing. So next spring. Ideally I'd like a 3 year age gap but we're going to start trying earlier due to my history! And Id love a happy earlier accident rather than stressing TTC like last time.

We're trying for the next now !

Just had #2 and it is rough at our house - no doubt compounded by the fact that I am a SAHM and have a very busy 3 year old to look after, as well. I imagine if she were in daycare my days would be a lot, lot easier. But anyway, I originally wanted 3 and now I'm thinking 2 is plenty!

If I had my way, we would be NTNP right now. My husband thinks we have plenty of time. I'm the one that has to carry the baby though, and I'd like to have 1-2 more and also be done with pregnancy/babies in the next few years (I'll be 30 this year). So we'll see. I'm hoping after bat season this year.

I'm pregnant with #2 now, and this will be our last.

I was asked a lot when E was younger (<6 months old) but not much after that. My default response was "we really want to enjoy E for now".

I'm currently pregnant, and we are planning on NTNP right away. I had PCOS and needed Clomid to get pregnant, so I figure if I get pregnant without it while breastfeeding, it was meant to be!

I want to hit people who ask me that or tell me that my boys need a little sister. I think the red glow of murder in my eyes scares most away after they ask. I do remember the nurses telling us they would see us in 2 years after our first... and they did.

We are completely undecided about a third. We'll reevaluate in a couple years (3ish year age gap) but we would need bigger house, bigger car, etc. And for me not to be visibly cringing at the thought of pregnancy again.

It's crazy that DD is 6 mo and I already have baby fever (of course I'm not doing anything about it haha). The most logical/realistic timeline for us is to try when she 1.5-2.

DS is 5 months and I think we'll start trying for #2 at the one year mark.. maaaaaybe a little sooner

I'm still pregnant with #2, but we want 3, so depending on how this 20ish month age gap goes, we'll probably start trying again next fall.
