I always wonder why it happens so much, they have so many options but somehow manage to end up wearing the same outfit!

I think in some cases they may be getting these outfits for free....celebs in outfits = free advertising for said designer! ha

Yeah I agree with @LuLu Mom the stylists always get the same "in season" stuff for free for publicity.
Could you imagine getting compared by outfit with someone else? Especially someone with a different body type?? I'd hate it!

Wow, JHud looks fab in that dress.
Did you see the case of the gorge neon dress that Nicki Minaj wore first and then the mom from Modern Family wore it? I forget which lady wasn't supposed to get the dress, but the designer came out and said they did NOT pull the dress for both of them.
Or sometimes a dress is so fab everyone wants to get it on it. Like the Stella McCartney cutout Saskia. This dress has made the rounds- short long, belted or not, in black and green. Here's Khloe rocking hers. At least it was just for a photo shoot, but many others wore it for appearances, awards shows, vand walking the red carpet.

I think it's fun to compare how different people accessorize and such. I'm sure it has to do with stylists, etc.
Also... J.HUD rocked the shit out of that dress. Kim needed it at least 1 size bigger.
