R wants to do it herself but ends up just eating the bubbles.

we taught her how to blow bubbles around 20 months. she's pretty good at it now at almost 21 months. before she would just play/eat it.

She still eats them at 2.5.

At first I thought you meant in the pool! That was 13 months.
She's 30/70 on blowing bubbles from a wand and eating. 18 months here.

She gets the concept but has trouble getting the sustained pressure for bubbles (aka at 20 months, she still blows raspberries when she gets too excited). We bought a little bubble blower hand held machine for $2.99 at Target that she's loved since 16 months.

I was just wondering the same thing! J wants to blow bubbles SO BAD, gives up and just sticks the wands in her mouth. My husband told me she would probably be 2.5-3 before she can do it since all bubble related things say ages 3+...she's gonna eat a lot of bubbles if that's the case.

My son was able to blow bubbles at around 3. But my daughter is pretty good at it now (just turned 2). She used to eat them all the time though.

I give LO an old bubble bottle filled with water so she can pretend. She's happy to dip the wand in solutions and sputter her lips while I actually blow bubbles.

At almost 2 years old, he still doesn't blow them. He's getting better at it though.

Mine (17 months) grabs the wrong end of the wand EVERY time. Such a sticky mess!

He just did it for the first time yesterday!!! He's 22 months.

18 months over here. She loves bubbles!
